WORLD YOUTH DAY 2027 OFFICIAL THEME SONG (Classic Ver.)

WATCH: The official theme song for World Youth Day Seoul 2027 has been released.

Titled Confidite, Ego Vici Mundum ("Take Courage! I Have Overcome the World"), the hymn was chosen from 434 submissions and composed by Korean musician Francis Jiyoon Kim. Inspired by John 16:33, the song echoes the official theme of World Youth Day Seoul 2027: "Take courage! I have overcome the world."

The release marks the official one-year countdown to World Youth Day, which will gather young Catholics from around the world in Seoul, South Korea, from Aug. 3–8, 2027.

On this sacred feast, we profess our faith in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist—the Bread of Life who nourishes our souls, strengthens our faith, and remains with us always.

As we adore and receive the Body and Blood of the Lord, may we become what we receive: the living Body of Christ, bringing His love, mercy, and compassion to the world.

A grateful heart is never enough to express how thankful we are for your presence in our journey, Fr. Gerry. To us, you were not only a parish priest but also a mentor, guide, and source of encouragement who reminded us to stay rooted in faith and service.

The Youth Apostolate is deeply grateful for the time, wisdom, and care you shared with us through the years. Thank you for believing in the youth, walking with us in our faith journey, and inspiring us to become better servants of God.

As you enter a new chapter in your ministry, we lift you in prayer and ask the Lord to continue blessing your priestly vocation with strength, peace, and joy. Though we bid farewell, the lessons and memories you gave us will remain in our hearts.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟭𝟳𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣!

Day 3 began with hearts united in prayer as the participants attended the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Gerry Sacupayo. It was a solemn and grace-filled celebration, grounding everyone in faith and gratitude.

After the Mass, the campers gathered for a meaningful Small Group Sharing, where they reflected on their experiences, shared insights, and strengthened their bonds as one community.

The camp concluded with a heartfelt Closing Program, highlighting the journey of the past days. Chapels were awarded Certificates of Recognition in appreciation of their active participation and commitment throughout the camp.

As we wrap up this beautiful encounter, we carry with us the lessons, friendships, and faith that will continue to guide us beyond these days.
