UST Pax Romana - Senior High School Unit Pax Christi In Regno Christi! The Official page of Pax Romana UST - Senior High School Unit

Pax Romana is the premier religious organization of the University of Santo Tomas, mainly responsible for handling various activities and events for the formation of Catholic Christian individuals inside the Thomasian community. Pax Romana does not solely focus on the prayer life of students, rather, it goes beyond conducting Christ-centered community service programs that are rooted in our Catholic faith and values.

In times when truth is questioned, justice is delayed, and peace seems hard to find, we are reminded that silence in the face of suffering is never the way of Christians. As one Thomasian community, let us unite in prayer for peace rooted in truth, justice grounded in compassion, and accountability led by integrity and moral courage.

May we continue to be instruments of Christ’s light in a world wounded by division, dishonesty, and indifference. Let us pray not only for societal change but also for the transformation of hearts — beginning with our own.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

With hearts rooted in faith, hope, and charity, UST Pax Romana - Senior High School Unit proudly welcomes the new Executive Board for the Academic Year 2026–2027. ✨

As a new chapter begins for the organization, may this upcoming school year become another opportunity for Pax Romana to continue its mission of forming Christ-centered Thomasian leaders who are committed to truth, compassion, service, and authentic Catholic witness. More than holding positions and responsibilities, these student leaders are called to become instruments of renewal, unity, and evangelization within the Thomasian community.

May the newly elected Executive Board lead not for recognition, but for mission; not for authority, but for service. As they carry the responsibilities entrusted to them, may they always be guided by wisdom, humility, courage, and a deep love for Christ and his Church.

Let us continue walking together as one Pax Romana community — grounded in faith, strengthened by fellowship, and inspired to become witnesses of the Gospel both inside and beyond the walls of the University.

Congratulations to the Executive Board of UST SHS Pax Romana for Academic Year 2026–2027. May the Lord bless your leadership and guide you always in your mission of service.

Pax Christi in Regno Christi 🤍

“I am with You always, until the end of the world.” (Mt. 28: 19-20)

It was truly never a goodbye. In His ascension, Christ didn’t leave us behind; it was a beautiful reminder that He opened the way to Heaven and changed the way He stays with us—moving from beside us to within us, always and forever. 🤍

In the ascension of the Lord, it was a fullness of his physical journey on earth, where it reached its ending so that our mission and purpose could begin.

Led by his grace from above, may our hearts rise with Him in faith, hope, and love. 🙏

As we look up in awe, may we continue to walk forward in faith, stay our feet on the ground, seeking things from above. 🌟

Today, we celebrate the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima. Her message reminds us of the power of the Rosary in achieving peace. ✌️

In 1917, she revealed herself to the shepherd children, inviting us all to embrace daily prayer. Through this devotion, we nurture discipline and surrender, guiding our spiritual journey. Her sheltering presence gives us courage to meet the challenges of our time, keeping our hearts rooted in Christ’s mercy and love. She reminds us that even the simplest souls can be called to remarkable acts of faith.

Let us pray;

O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen 🙏

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

As another academic year comes to a close, a new generation of servant-leaders rises to answer the call. 👥✨

The UST Pax Romana — SHS Unit proudly presents the official list of candidates aspiring to become the next Executive Board of the organization. As they begin this journey of discernment, leadership, and service, we invite the Thomasian community to keep them in prayer. May they remain guided by wisdom, humility, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve both God and His people. 💫

In this season of election and discernment, may Christ the Good Shepherd lead us in choosing leaders who will not only guide with competence, but also serve with compassion, faith, and a heart rooted in the Gospel. 🐑🌟

Behold Thy Mother.” – John 19:27

Today, we honor the Patronage of Our Blessed Mother, who has always been our mother and protector with her humility, obedience, and total submission to the will of God. She sets an example for us to follow, so that we might live our lives filled with faith, mercy, and dedication to others by showing the way to Her Divine Son, Jesus.

As we reflect on her maternal care, let’s trust her with our prayers, hopes, and struggles. We pray that the Blessed Virgin Mary will protect us under her mantle and guide us to be united with her son Jesus Christ.

Let us pray:
We fly to thy patronage, O holy Mother of God; despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us!

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Election of Pope Leo XIV as the Supreme Pontiff of the Holy Catholic Church.

For one year, he has guided the faithful with humility, courage, and a heart rooted in Christ. As the Successor of St. Peter, may his ministry continue to strengthen the Church in unity, truth, compassion, and hope.

Let us continue to pray for our Holy Father, that the Lord may grant him wisdom, good health, and perseverance as he shepherds the People of God in these changing times.

“Tu es Petrus, et super hanc petram aedificabo Ecclesiam meam.”
“You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church.” (Matthew 16:18)

Let us pray for our Sovereign Pontiff, Leo.

O God, who chose your servant Leo.
in succession to the Apostle Peter
as shepherd of the whole flock,
look favorably on the supplications of your people
and grant that, as Vicar of Christ on earth,
he may confirm his brethren
and that the whole Church may be in communion with him
in the bond of unity, love and peace,
so that in you, the shepherd of souls,
all may know the truth and attain life eternal.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

Happy 1st Anniversary, Holy Father!

“Once humility is acquired, charity will come to life like a burning flame devouring the corruption of vice” - St. Vincent Ferrer

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Vincent Ferrer, the “Angel of the Judgment,” and a Dominican preacher who dedicated his life to healing divisions and calling people back to Christ. A man of immense humility and intellect, he traveled across Europe performing miracles and bridging the gap between the Church and the people through fiery sermons.

St. Vincent Ferrer sets an example for us as students; he used his voice to fight for the unity of the Church and teaches us to use our education not just for personal gain but also to advance our connection with God and with those around us. By embodying his spirit of tireless service and devotion to the Word, we can become “preachers” in our own right through our integrity and compassion for others.

St. Vincent Ferrer, pray for us!

This month of May, we continue to unite our hearts with the prayer intention of the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, praying that every person receives the nourishment that they need to flourish.

As one Thomasian community, we are called to clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, and feed the hungry. Through our collective prayers, we advocate for a world of equality where food can be attained by all. May our intentions serve as a call to provide for those facing the pain of hunger and the hardship of an empty stomach.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life, sustain Your people with food to eat.
