Treasures of the heart
Psalm 119:11
When the word of God is spoken, the receipient has the responsibility to protect and keep the word of God because the work f the devil is to steel the word of God.
John 10:10a
Matthew 13:19
Our heart is like a garden, you take the responsibility of taking care of it and cultivating it in order to become a good garden.
If you check your heart....
What kind of ground do we have in our heart? Is it hard, soft, stony or fertile?
1. What do you choose to treasure?
Treasure is something that excites you because treasure is something precious, valuable, hidden, very difficult to discover.
โข What best describes the treasure you should keep in your heart?
The hebrew word of hide is "tsaphan" which means to treasure or store up.
In Psalm 119:11 talks about what kind of treasure we must have in our heart. It is the word of God.
Is it the treasure that we keep in our heart?
People choose other things as their treasure in their hearts like work, business, materila things. These are the thinhs that people consider as treasure in their hearts not really the word of God.
2. What memories have you stored up in your heart?
Is it bitterness, hurt, rejection condemnation, shame guilt, timidity? These should not be kept in our hearts because it destroy us.
On the other hand, we can choose peace, humulity, joy.
For David, he allow the voice of God to outweigh the opinions of men or past experiences.
3. Who do you choose to treasure?
Is God a treasure that you choose?
A devil might be also be chosen by the people to treasure.
But when you choose the word of God, you choose to value and treasure it, and listen what says about it.
These are the things that the word of God tells you
I am blesses, I am prosperous, I am redeemed, I am forgiven, I am motivated, I am valuable, I am free, I am empowered. I am anointed, I am accepted and approved, I am not average, I am not mediocre, I am excelling, I am the child of most High, I will become all i was created to be.
As we choose the word of God as our treasur, let God build the framework and the foundation of our hearts.
Protect, guard and keep the word of God close to your heart. Let the word pe*****te the depths of your soul and freed your spirit.
What is the Word of God
It is the Bible. It id the bible that we are Receiving, hearing and allowing the word of God to speak to us, to minister to is to bless us.
Let the word of God lead you and protect you.
What are you hiding within the ground of your heart?
When you treasure and keep the word of God in your heart, you cancel sin and its assignment.
Sin is the seed od the devil, but if you have the word of God, it rejects the seed of the devil.
It allows us to overcome the power or sin and the control of sin in our lives.
The soil of our heart must be cultivated to make it fertile. Choose to cultivate your heart with the word of God.
In cultivation of our heart, choose to release bitterness, hurt, stife, resentment, and anything that is not of the Lord.
Ways to cultivate our heart
1. Devotional
2. Prayer
3. Reading the word of God.
The enemy wants to harden your heart and contaminate your heart soil so it not produce.
Isaiah 55:11
Dont let God's words fell by the wayside and in order to avoid falling on thr wayside you have to choose to value, treasure and protect the word of God.
Cancel the cycle of sin by hiding the word of God in our heart. Obey the word and your ground will flourish. Let the ground of your heart become fruitful.
Imagine riding an elevator, when it reaches the maximum load, immediately it will alarm, out hearts are like elevator, when it is full of Gods words, thereare no room for sin.
Let God's words reign in our life.
