"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

This past Saturday night was a powerful testament to that promise. Thereโ€™s something so special about laying down the weekโ€™s burdens together before the new week begins. Lifting our voices as brothers and sisters in Christ, we felt His presence move in such a personal way.

Just as Jonah tried to flee from God's call to go to Nineveh, sometimes we too find ourselves shrinking away from the great things God has prepared for us.

It's like when you're given a talent or an opportunity to serve, and instead of embracing it, you suddenly find excuses, much like Moses initially doubted his ability to speak before Pharaoh. This often happens when we're afraid of the responsibility that comes with God's blessings โ€“ perhaps fearing the expectations others might place on us, or the challenges that might arise, much like Gideon hesitated before leading Israel.

We might even put off using the gifts God has given us, not out of laziness, but because the idea of stepping into His purpose feels too grand or overwhelming, similar to how Jeremiah felt too young to be a prophet.

This reluctance to fully embrace our God-given potential can keep us from fulfilling the divine assignments meant for us.

Ultimately, it's about our hidden fear of the greatness God sees in us, causing us to run from the very opportunities He provides for us to flourish in His will.

Yesterday's youth outing was a time of fellowship and praise, filled with laughter and spiritual reflection. Today, we're still feeling the impact of Cristine Cate's inspiring message about steadfast faith and dedicated service to God. The words challenged us to be more intentional in our faith and to actively share God's love with others.

The energy and enthusiasm from yesterday's gathering continue to motivate us today. We're grateful for the opportunity to grow closer to God and to one another.

We're excited to see what God has in store for us in the days to come.

The world felt huge and overwhelming, and we struggled to find our place in it. There were days when we felt completely alone, the silence deafening, the path ahead shrouded in fog.

We questioned everythingโ€”our abilities, our worth, our future. Doubt gnawed at us, whispering insidious lies.
