Use the updated Guide for the Installation of Council Officers (PAGTATALAGA NG MGA BAGONG PINUNO NG KONSEHO, July, 2025). Please ensure that the proper ceremony, procedures, and prescribed format are followed.
2. Use βFraternal Yearβ
Always use the term Fraternal Year, not Columbian Year, in announcements, programs, certificates, and other official materials.
3. Wear the Proper Uniform
Officers and participating members should wear the prescribed Knights of Columbus uniform:
* Knights of Columbus Emblem Polo Barong (long sleeves)
* Black Pants
* Black Shoes
* Black Socks
4. Use the Ceremonial Baldric
During the Installation Ceremony, officers should use the Ceremonial Baldric, not the Service Baldric.
5. Use the Official Theme
Incorporate the official theme for this Fraternal Year in your programs, presentations, and publication materials:
βIn the One, we are one.β
6. Proper Installation of Officers' Medals of Office (Jewels)
The District Deputy, serving as the Installing Officer, shall be the one to place or invest the officer with the appropriate medal (jewel) of officeβnot the sponsor.

Councils requesting the presence and participation of Honor Guards should properly coordinate with and notify the concerned Assembly in advance.

As a general practice, use βBro", before the names of brother Knights in announcements, programs, and other fraternal communications, whenever appropriate.
9. Use the Correct Knights of Columbus Emblem
All councils are reminded to use only the official and correct Knights of Columbus emblem available through the official Knights of Columbus Brand Assets.
LET US ENSURE A PROPER, UNIFORM, AND MEANINGFUL INSTALLATION CEREMONY.
Follow the updated guidelines.

Uphold the dignity of the Order.
