"Come As You Are”

In Matthew 11:28–30, Jesus gives one of the most comforting invitations in the Bible: “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

This invitation is for everyone. Not just for the strong. Not just for the religious. Not just for people who seem to have their life together. Jesus is calling the tired — the ones who feel heavy inside, the ones silently crying, the ones who smile outside but are breaking inside.

Life can be exhausting. Some people are tired physically, but many are tired mentally and emotionally. They are tired of responsibilities, expectations, disappointments, and pretending to be okay. Some chase success, thinking it will fix everything — but success cannot heal a wounded soul. Achievements cannot remove guilt. Money cannot calm anxiety. Only Jesus can give true rest.

When Jesus says His yoke is easy and His burden is light, He is not saying life will have no problems. He is saying we don’t have to carry everything alone. He offers to carry it with us. His rest is peace in the middle of chaos. His rest is assurance that we are loved even when we are weak.

You don’t need to fix yourself first before coming to God. You don’t need to pretend. You don’t need to be perfect.

If you are tired of life… come to Jesus.
If you are tired of pretending… come to Jesus.
If you are emotionally and mentally exhausted… come to Jesus.

Come as you are. Because only Jesus can give the kind of rest that heals the soul.

2 Timothy 2:13 — If we are faithless, He remains faithful.

Many challenges, trials, and struggles (kalisod) will come into our lives here in this world. There will be times when our faith feels weak and we start to doubt God because we focus too much on the difficulties around us. Sometimes what we see becomes bigger than what we believe.

But the book of Timothy reminds us that even when we become faithless, God remains faithful. He does not change. He keeps His promises, His word, and above all, His love for us. Our weakness does not cancel His goodness. Even when our trust shakes, His character stays the same.

So when our faith feels small, we can still hold on — not because we are strong, but because He is. God’s faithfulness is not based on our performance but on who He is. That gives us hope to keep going and to trust Him again, one step at a time.

The same God who has always provided for our needs is still the God who will provide for us in the coming year, 2026. Just as Abraham named that place Jehovah Jireh—“The Lord will provide” (Genesis 22:14), we can trust that God’s provision never changes.

As we close 2025 and step into 2026, we are reminded that His faithfulness is constant. He has been with us through every challenge, and He will continue to guide, supply, and bless us in the year ahead.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Celebration 2025

Theme: “The Great Exchange” – 2 Corinthians 5:21

Our Thanksgiving and Christmas Celebration 2025 was a beautiful reminder of God’s unfailing love and faithfulness. Gathered in joy and unity, we reflected on “The Great Exchange”—that through Christ, our sins were exchanged for His righteousness. What a powerful truth that defines both thanksgiving and Christmas: grace freely given, love fully poured out.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who took time to join and support this meaningful celebration. Your presence, service, and shared joy made the event truly special and memorable. Each smile, prayer, and act of fellowship reflected the love of Christ among us.

Above all, we give our deepest thanks and praise to the Lord. For “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21). This divine exchange is the greatest gift we could ever receive—one that fills our hearts with gratitude, hope, and renewed faith.

May the message of this season continue to inspire us to live in righteousness, love, and humility, carrying the true meaning of Thanksgiving and Christmas beyond this celebration and into our daily lives. 🙏✨
