Happy 4th Thanksgiving Celebration to Caracol Alliance Fellowship Center

Today is a special day as we celebrate the 4th Thanksgiving of our beloved fellowship center. We are so thankful to God for His faithfulness through the years. It hasn’t been easy—there were many challenges and hard times—but God never left us. He was always there, giving us strength, comfort, and direction.

Even when things got tough, we kept serving, we kept believing, and we kept going—because of God's grace. This celebration is not just about the years we've been together, but about the God who has been with us every step of the way.

After four spirit-filled days of SVBS, we wrapped up with an unforgettable camping night at church. It may have been tiring, but every moment was filled with joy, laughter, and God's presence. Even in the quiet and the exhaustion, we felt God's strength encouraging us. He reminded us that no matter how small or big our part is, when we give it to Him, it becomes something beautiful. This week was not just about fun and learning—it was about growing in faith and community.

We want to say a big thank you to our amazing teachers and assistant teachers. You patiently guided the children, shared God's word with so much love, and truly became instruments of His grace. Your time, energy, and kindness made a lasting impact on the kids and on all of us.

To the staff and carpool drivers—thank you so much for your service and dedication. You helped everything run smoothly, and your support behind the scenes did not go unnoticed. Salamat sa inyong kasing-kasing nga nagpagamit sa Ginoo, bisan pa sa kapoy ug kakapoy, nihatag mo og kusog ug kalipay sa among grupo.

And most especially, a huge thank you to our food committee. You cared for everyone not just by filling our stomachs but by showing the love of God through your service. Every meal was made with love, and we felt it in every bite. Tinud-anay gyud nga nagpagamit mo sa Ginoo—salamat sa inyong mainiton nga pagtabang ug pag-atiman. We are beyond blessed because of each one of you!

It’s hard to believe today was the last day of our VBS—and what a week it has been! The kids showed up each day full of energy, curiosity, and joy. From the very beginning, they were eager to sing, play, and most of all, learn more about God. Each day brought something new, and we’ve loved watching them grow in faith, confidence, and kindness.

Today was graduation day, and we took time to celebrate all the things they’ve learned. They discovered that faith helped David overcome Goliath, that they can say no to temptation with God’s help, and that even when people hurt us, we’re called to forgive—just like God forgives us. These are big lessons for young hearts, and they took them in so beautifully. Seeing them pray, share, and encourage each other was truly special.

We’re so thankful for every child who joined us, every volunteer who served with love, and every parent who trusted us this week. VBS may be over, but we know the seeds planted in their hearts will keep growing. This is just the beginning of their amazing journey with God, and we’re so excited to see where it takes them next!

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes moment as we get everything ready for VBS tomorrow. It’s been a mix of laughter, teamwork, a little bit of chaos—and a whole lot of heart. Get ready for an exciting adventure this summer as Salug Alliance Evangelical Church invites all children ages 3 to 14 years old to our Summer Vacation Bible School (SVBS)! This year’s theme is "Battle Ready" based on 1 Samuel 17:47, reminding us that "the battle is the Lord’s". Join us from April 21 to 24, 2025, for four fun-filled days of Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and unforgettable lessons from God’s Word.

Our goal is to equip young hearts with the spiritual armor they need to face life’s challenges with courage and faith,just like David did when he faced Goliath. Each day will be packed with activities that will help kids grow in their relationship with God, build friendships, and discover what it truly means to be "Battle Ready" in their daily walk with Christ.

Parents, bring your kids and let them be part of something meaningful this summer! Whether they’ve attended SVBS before or it’s their very first time, they are welcome and valued. We can’t wait to see the children’s lives touched and transformed. Mark your calendars and join us at Salug Alliance Evangelical Church—April 21-24, 2025!
