Wag po basta-basta aalis.
"Hindi ako nabati"
"Hindi ako na-message"
"Hindi ako na-kamusta"
"Hindi ako nadalaw"
Staying is hard. But, you need to stay long enough for the roots to grow deep. Pero, ibang usapan kapag may abuse or you are in a harmful situation na minsan kahit pagpapaalam is not an option.
Magpaalam ng maayos kung aalis ng simbahan, aalis ng group chat, magpapahinga sa ministry, magba-bakasyon, atbp. Wag sa chat or text po hangga't maaari.
Tandaan po: YOU ARE NOT JUST A MEMBER OF AN ORGANIZATION OR A CLUB, YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.
Never leave with bitterness and resentment. Before you decide to leave, give your leaders the privilege of shepherding and speaking into your life. Making a decision without seeking their advice and feedback is not fair.
Let us do our best also not to leave the ministry hanging. Leave for the right reasons. Pinaglingkuran ka din nila at ang iyong pamilya. It's just right to show gratitude to those who have poured into you.
May mga good reasons for leaving, may mga bad reasons for leaving. Madalas, mas maigi padin ang manatili at maging planted. But, If its time to leave, do so with the right spirit.
FOR LEADERS:
Naniniwala din naman ako na its not easy for members also to leave a church, so it would be wise for us to find out the reasons (the real one). If a faithful member leaves, he/she must have a good reason for it kasi they invested years in the ministry. Hindi laging kasalanan ng members kung bakit sila umaalis, madalas pa nga, tayo po ang nagkamali.
I don't minimize the pain of people leaving the church, ministry or small group. But don't lose heart. Kahit masakit, serve the flock that God entrusted to you. Draw closer to those who remained.
