For the passing of our beloved governor, Dakila Carlo "Dax" E. Cua, we send our deepest condolences to the Cua family and to the people of our province.
Dakila Carlo "Dax" Enriquez Cua was born on November 4, 1977.
He entered politics in 2001 at the age of 23, serving the vice governor of Quirino Province. He then served as the Governor of the province from 2007 to 2010. He also served three-year terms (2010-2013, 2013-2016, and 2016-2019) as the Representative of the lone district of Quirino in the Philippine Congress— specifically, the House of Representatives—where he voted for laws and secured funding for our home province.
In 2019, Dax Cua returned to the provincial governorship and was re-elected and chosen by the people to serve as the governor of the province until his death.
Gov. Dax life is a testimony of good leadership, dedication, and the love for the people of Quirino Province. He is one of the main contributors in the development of our province in the years passed.
We are sending our prayer for the family's healing and comfort during this difficult times.
May we all give respect, and remember his years of service and dedication to our beloved province.
