Today, we joyfully celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a profound reminder of Godโ€™s boundless love and His desire to draw humanity closer to Him. In His divine plan, Mary was conceived without sin, preserved in perfect grace to become the pure vessel through whom our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, would enter the world. Her โ€œyesโ€ changed the course of salvation historyโ€”and continues to inspire our own response to Godโ€™s call.

Maryโ€™s life remains a radiant example of unwavering faith, humility, courage, and total surrender to Godโ€™s will. In her purity, she teaches us hope; in her obedience, she teaches us trust; and in her motherhood, she teaches us love. As our Mother and Advocate, she listens to our prayers, carries our intentions, and gently leads us closer to her Son.

On this blessed day, let us open our hearts to grace. Let us ask Mary to intercede for us, to guide us in moments of doubt, to strengthen us in times of suffering, and to help us grow in holiness. May her Immaculate Heart be our refuge and inspiration as we strive to imitate her virtues in our daily lives.

May this celebration renew in us a deeper devotion to God, a stronger love for Mary, and a renewed commitment to living out our faith with joy and sincerity.

Immaculate Mary, pray for us! ๐Ÿ™

...Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen...

On this day, the Catholic Church celebrates th nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿค๐Ÿฉต

As we celebrate, let us thank God for choosing Mother Mary to be an instrument through which our Savior entered the world. We are reminded of her courageous 'yes' to the Lord that changed the course of the entire human history and brought salvation to all of us.

With this, let this day be a reminder for us to ask for her guidance in our everyday lives. May the Blessed Virgin Mary help us to embrace her virtues of humility, faith, obedience, and his full love for God. May her life teach us to trust in God's plan for us, just as she did.โœจ

To God be the Glory! โœจ

The Student Catholic Action (SCA) family joyfully celebrates the successful accomplishment of the eSCAPade for Trainees and the Officer Bearerโ€™s Course (OBC) for SCAns. These formation programs are more than just activitiesโ€”they are journeys of faith, leadership, and service that shape us to become true witnesses/disciples of Christ.

We also give our deepest gratitude to our SCA Adviserโ€”Mrs. Madelyn Faith M. Corbita, and our dedicated Secretariatsโ€”Ate Hezel Ann Santiago, Ate Charlyn Jane D. Dapar, and Kuya Neil Jenry A. Caga for their unwavering guidance, support, and encouragement throughout these programs. Without your wisdom and selfless service, this milestone would not have been possible.

We also sincerely thank our school principal, Mrs. Cecilita R. Centeno, LPT, MAED, and our school director, Rev. Fr. Melvin Naquila, for their continuous support and encouragement. Your leadership and inspiration guide us not only in our studies but also in our growth in faith and service.

Also, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our trainees who wholeheartedly participated in the eSCAPade. Your dedication, time, and willingness to learn show your deep commitment to live out the SCA spirit. Truly, you are the future bearers of faith and service in our community!

Additionally, to our officers who have completed the OBC, congratulations for embracing the challenge of leadership with courage and humility. This milestone reminds us all that being a SCAn is not just about belonging to an organizationโ€”it is about answering God's call to serve, lead, and love with sincerity.

May this achievement inspire us to continue moving forward. Together, let us shine as instruments of Christ's light in our schools, parishes, and communities.

Again, To Christ the King?

These were the words of ๐—ฆ๐˜. ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜‡๐—ผ ๐—ฅ๐˜‚๐—ถ๐˜‡ when he was imprisoned for two years and endured agonizing torture after refusing to renounce his faith. He was told he would be put to death if he did not renounce his beliefs.

Lorenzo Ruiz was born in Binondo, Manila, around 1600. The exact date of his birth is unknown since the baptismal records of the church of Binondo were destroyed. Lorenzo had a Chinese father and a Filipino mother. During his youth, he learned Spanish from the Dominican priests, whom he served as altar boy and sacristan. He was exceptionally gifted with beautiful penmanship and became a professional calligrapher, earned the title of โ€œescribanoโ€ who transcribe baptismal, confirmation and marriage documents into the churchโ€™s official books.

Lorenzo was also a member of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary, which was organized by the Dominicans in the Philippines when they arrived in 1587. Lorenzo married a woman named Rosario. The happy couple had three children, two sons and one daughter.

In 1636, a grave crime was committed in Manila. Authorities conducted a manhunt for Lorenzo because they believed he knew something about the crime or was involved in it. To protect his safety at the time, he fled home and found refuge on board a ship with three Dominican priests, a Japanese priest and a l***r.

Only when they were on the ship did Lorenzo learn that the missionaries were headed for Japan, to teach the people there about Jesus. At the time of their arrival, the rulers of Japan, the Tokugawa Shogunate, were persecuting Christians to prevent the spread of Christianity. When the boat landed at Okinawa, the group was arrested and imprisoned on basis of their Christian religion.

Pope John Paul II beatified Lorenzo Ruiz during the Papal visit in Manila on ๐—™๐—ฒ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿด, ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿต๐Ÿด๐Ÿญ, at Luneta Park. He was canonized on ๐—ข๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿด, ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿต๐Ÿด๐Ÿณ, at the Vatican in Rome.

On this day, September 8th, we joyfully commemorate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Heaven and Mother of all creation. Born without the stain of original sin, Mary is the most pure and holy among women. She was chosen by God to bear and nurture Jesus Christ. Her life of faith, humility, and unwavering love serves as a guiding light of hope for all of humanity.

Her significant role to Godโ€™s divine plan for salvation is beyond measure. By her pure and steadfast acceptance of Godโ€™s will, she became the vessel through which the Savior entered the world. Her life of obedience and devotion has inspired countless generations to draw closer to Christ. โœ๏ธ

As members of the Student Catholic Action, we contemplate on her deep connection to our movement. Her example motivates us to live in faithful service to others and to follow her lead in embracing Godโ€™s will in all that we do. With deep faith and gratitude, we honor her Nativity, allowing her pure heart to inspire our actions and guide our commitment to serve others in love and faithfulness.๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™
