Just like our theme, COMPASS, this flame reminds us that no matter where we go, there is a light that guides usโ€”and that is Christ. This fire reflects Circuit Jamesโ€™ burning passion to serve, to trust, and to follow the Lord in every direction. ๐Ÿ˜‡

As the fire burned brightly in the middle of the night, wrapping everyone in warmth against the cold rush of the wind, hearts softened and memories came rushing in. Flashbacks of laughter, struggles, victories, and quiet moments filled our minds. Together, as one Circuit James, we sang songs for Him, lifting our voices in unity, reflecting on how far weโ€™ve come in just a few days. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Afterwards, everyone gathered in the session hall to watch the films created by each groupโ€”outputs that carried not just effort, but stories, emotions, and meaning. As each scene played, familiar faces lit up the screen, and the room echoed with laughter, smiles, and even silent realizations. It wasnโ€™t just about the filmsโ€”it was about seeing the journey unfold all over again. ๐Ÿซถ

Gani campers, madamo gid nga salamat sa inyo nga effort kag partisipasyon. Salamat gid sa paghatag sang inyo oras, kusog, kag tagipusuon sa sini nga mga aktibidad. Know that your presence here was never an accidentโ€”gin plano ini sang Ginoo. You were meant to be here, to experience this, to grow, and to be changed. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Kabay pa nga ang kalayo nga nagdan-ag sini nga gab-i indi lang magpabilin diri, kundi dal-on ninyo sa inyo kabuhiโ€”padayon nga nagasiga, naga-init, kag nagagiya sa inyo sa tagsa ka tikang. ๐Ÿ’›

Praise the lord.
Circuit James forever.

๐‚๐Ž๐Œ๐๐€๐’๐’: ๐ƒ๐€๐˜ ๐“๐‡๐‘๐„๐„ ๐Ÿงญ | Then came the most bittersweet night of the campโ€”bitter, because something so beautiful had to end; sweet, because every moment, every laughter, every friendship, every lesson made it all worth it. It was the kind of ending that leaves a quiet ache in the heart, not out of sadness alone, but because you know something meaningful has taken placeโ€”something you will carry long after this camp. โœŠ

The Closing Celebration was graced by Pastor Vincent Dequita, who centered his message on the importance of Godโ€™s Word. He reminded everyone with a striking truth: it is a lie to say we love God if we do not read and live out His Word. ๐Ÿซก

โ€œBy the power vested in me as the president, I officially declare our 48th Summer Camp with the theme, โ€œCOMPASS: A Journey with Christ in Every Direction,โ€ and text found on Psalms 119:105, officially closed.โ€ โ€” Gwyneth Carlos, CJYFO President

And just like thatโ€ฆ with those words, the camp reached its gentle endingโ€”quiet, full, and deeply felt. ๐Ÿค—

Because this was never just a campโ€”it was a turning point. A reminder. A calling. ๐Ÿ™Œ

And as you leave this place, may you not just walk forwardโ€”but walk with purpose, with faith, and with Christ at the center of every step.

Not the endโ€ฆ just a new direction. โœจ

Each camper was asked to carry a stone and walk through a maze blindfolded, holding it up high. They didnโ€™t know where to go, what was ahead, or how to get out. But what they didnโ€™t see was this: the stone they carried symbolized their burdensโ€”their struggles, pain, worries, and weariness.

As they moved, voices filled the air. Some distracted, some tempted, some tried to misleadโ€”but others gently called them, reminding them to let go, to surrender, to stop relying only on themselves, and to trust God. Because the truth wasโ€ฆ there was no real way out of the maze.

The only exit was surrender. ๐Ÿซก

Some chose to let go of their stonesโ€”laying down their burdens and stepping out in faith. Others held on, trying to find their own way through.

After the activity, pastors and elders gathered to pray over the campers, covering them with guidance and grace. A heartfelt reflection was shared, followed by a closing prayer led by Pastor Merlo Caรฑeteโ€”ending the moment with peace and surrender.

Campers, we hope and pray that each one of you was truly touched, changed, and renewed through this experience. May this be a reminder: you were never meant to carry everything on your own. There is freedom in surrender, strength in letting go, and peace in trusting the One who sees what you cannot. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Sometimes, the way outโ€ฆ is simply to let go, and let God.

The final day of camp started with high energy as our lovely facilitators together with Manong Soisoi led the Zumba and dance exerciseโ€”ending our mornings the same way we began: alive and moving with joy. Campers then gathered with their respective groups for a short but meaningful devotional, grounding themselves in Godโ€™s Word before stepping into the dayโ€™s activities. Soon after, creativity took the spotlight as everyone began filming their group entriesโ€”capturing stories, lessons, and memories from the camp. ๐Ÿซถ

The afternoon kicked off with a blast as Pastor Leo led fun and engaging Bible gamesโ€”proving once again that learning about God can be both exciting and meaningful. Campers were then divided into three groups for the Youth Engagements, a series of workshops designed to equip everyone with practical skills they can use in serving the Lord and in their daily lives. ๐Ÿ’›

In the First Aid โ›‘๏ธ workshop, led by Manang Fine, campers learned the basics of responding to emergenciesโ€”gaining knowledge on simple yet important life-saving skills and how to stay calm and ready in times of need.
In Journaling ๐Ÿ“, led by Manang Elle, participants explored how to express their thoughts, prayers, and reflections through writingโ€”encouraging a deeper and more personal connection with God.
Lastly, in the Media ๐Ÿ’ป workshop, led by Manong Gem Ryll, campers were introduced to the basics of media and presentationโ€”learning how to create simple yet impactful PowerPoints and use digital tools to share messages creatively.

This activity aimed to empower every camperโ€”not just to learn, but to use their skills, talents, and voices in ways that honor God and make a difference wherever they go. ๐Ÿซก
