On St. Joseph the Worker's Feast: Groundbreaking Blessings for Future Classrooms
Marking the Feast Day of St. Joseph the Worker on May 1, 2026, St. Joseph Catholic School of Sagay, Inc., broke ground for its soon-to-rise 2 storey, 10-classroom building symbolizing unwavering faith, diligent labor, and hope for tomorrow's leaders.
Led by Rev. Fr. Joferson P. Garces (outgoing Parish Priest and School Director) and Rev. Fr. Earl Aureo Castillo (incoming Parish Priest and School Director), the ceremony drew clergy including Rev. Val Anthony Mahilum, Rev. Fr. Aristedes Rivera, Rev. Fr. Buena Flores Jr., and Most Rev. Gerardo Alminaza, D.D.
Distinguished guests and community leaders, Engr. Vivencio Flores, Ms. Sofia Maraรฑon, Mrs. Sonia Sarrosa, Hon. Exequiel Maraรฑon, Hon. Conception Javellana, Mr. & Mrs. Gutierrez, Mrs. Tessie Singbenco, and Hon. Alfredo G. Maraรฑon III joined in this inspiring milestone.
