TAIZÉ PRAYER | Come, Rest in His Presence
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Come and take a pause from the noise of life. Come as you are. Let us gather in prayer, silence, song, and reflection as we place our burdens before the Lord and allow Him to renew our hearts. You don’t have to carry everything alone. There is a place for you in God’s presence.

Join us for Taizé Prayer, a peaceful time to be still, listen, pray, and simply rest in the love of God.

Bring your friends, you classmates, and anyone who needs a moment of peace. Come. Be still. Pray. Rest.

Today, we honor St. Augustine of Hippo, bishop, theologian, and Doctor of the Church—a man whose journey from searching for truth to discovering God’s love continues to inspire us.

His life reminds us that no matter how far we may wander, God’s grace is always calling us home. May we learn from St. Augustine to seek the truth, love God wholeheartedly, and allow His grace to transform our lives.

Today's Gospel reminds us of the importance of having a strong and unwavering faith in Jesus. As Peter professed his faith in Christ, may we also have the courage to recognize Jesus as the center of our lives and remain faithful to Him.

In times of doubt, struggles, and uncertainty, may we continue to pray, trust, and believe that God is always with us. Let us never allow difficult moments to weaken our faith, but instead, let them bring us closer to Him.

Today, we celebrate Mary as our Queen and Mother, whose crown reflects not earthly power, but a life of humble love, faithful obedience, and complete trust in God. Her heart remains attentive to the needs of her children, always leading us toward Christ.

May Mary teach us to live with a humble heart, to serve with love, and to place our trust in God’s will. May she accompany us on our journey of faith and bring us ever closer to her Son, Jesus.

Today, we joyfully welcomed the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe at Sto. Niño Parish Church, gathering as one community in prayer, faith, and devotion.

Through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and the veneration of the sacred image, the faithful were given a special opportunity to offer their prayers, hopes, struggles, and intentions to God through the intercession of Mama Mary.

May this blessed visit remind us of the importance of faith, humility, love, and prayer. May Our Lady of Guadalupe continue to guide our hearts closer to her Son, Jesus Christ, and inspire us to live our faith every day.
