George Cardyn, CICM came all the way from Baguio City to visit Disdis (Sablan) and gave religious intructions to those interested both young and old. His efforts bore fruits when on March 24, 1924, four persons embraced the catholic faith and were baptized. w located. Fransisco Antonissen, CICM took over the missionary work and put up a kindergarden school. Valerio Vander Donckt, CICM in 1934-1935 who added grades one and two to the kindergarden. By the teaching of the Catholic faith, the attitudes, values, customs, traditions and culture of the people were profoundly influenced. However, the missionary activities in Sablan were briefly interrupted due to the Second World War II. After the war in 1945, pastoral work resumed and by that time, St. Vincent Parish, Baguio City was established and Sablan Mission was under its territorial jurisdiction. Florimond Carlu, CICM was the parish priest and Fr. Juan Pelssers, CICM was assigned to take care of the Sablan Mission. Since Sablan mission had been growing rapidly, it had to be separated from the mother parish of St. Thus on December 8, 1967, Sablan Mission was dedicated to the patronage of our Mother Mary, the Immaculate Conception, with Fr. Henry Mampaey, CICM as the first resident parish priest. At the same time, The Saint Louis High School started its operation providing secondary education to many children. The CICM missionaries had been shepherding the Mission until 1985. After which, the parish was handed over to the Diocesan Clergy. On December 27, 1985, Fr.
