Many can relate.
And it’s true. Kailangan naman talaga natin ng pera. Syempre, practical tayo. But is money our main focus in life?
Don’t get me wrong, working is not a bad thing. In fact, God is pleased with those who work.
More than out worries, more than our jobs, more than our financial needs. Pwede bang more of Jesus? Let’s seek more of His presence, more of His goodness, more of His blessings, and more of His love. More of Him, each day. Let’s pray more, trust more, know Him more. Let’s worship more, praise Him a little bit more, and love on Him more and more.
Because the truth is,
“More of Jesus” brings contentment
“More of Jesus” guarantees our provision
“More of Jesus” gives us peace of mind
“More of Jesus” reminds us we’re taken care of
When we put Jesus first and seek Him above all things, everything else will follow. You will be content, you will be in peace - simply because you have Him.
And as long as you have Jesus, you already have EVERYTHING.
— “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6:6-12)
