The Supreme Student Pastoral Council would like to inform everyone that the previously posted announcement regarding the Academic and Non-Academic Awardees for the Academic Year 2025–2026 has been temporarily removed for further checking and verification of details.

As much as we are eager to honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our fellow Purisimians, we believe that every recognition deserves accuracy and careful verification. In line with this, the post was temporarily taken down to allow further checking and confirmation of the listed awardees and details.

We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding this announcement, especially for the students, parents, advisers, and departments who have worked hard throughout the academic year. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐒𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲

Yesterday, the Supreme Student Pastoral Council (SSPC) convened at the OSAS Conference Room for an important meeting presided over by Rev. Fr. Anthony O. Aguason, OIC of the Office of Student Affairs and Services.

The assembly focused on the preparations for the upcoming Recognition Day, particularly the committees and responsibilities entrusted to the SSPC to ensure a well-coordinated and successful program for the Purisimian community. Expectations, assignments, and operational concerns were thoroughly discussed as officers were reminded of the importance of discipline, accountability, and excellence in service.

More than a simple meeting, the gathering served as a reaffirmation of the council’s commitment to leadership and student service. As student leaders, the SSPC continues to uphold its responsibility of working hand in hand with the administration in delivering programs and activities that reflect professionalism and genuine dedication to the students.

With the academic year nearing its conclusion, the council remains steadfast in fulfilling its duties and ensuring that every remaining activity and responsibility entrusted to the council will be carried out with competence and dedication.

Last May 13, 2026, the CPC Supreme Student Pastoral Council convened for its General Assembly Meeting at the OSAS Conference Room to discuss the council’s direction, remaining activities, and plans before the conclusion of the academic year.

One of the major concerns raised during the meeting was the recent suspension of the student elections. Officers openly expressed their sentiments, questions, and disappointments regarding the matter. Different perspectives were voiced during the discussion, reflecting the council’s concern and strong stand on issues that directly affect the students.

Despite the officers’ dismay and differing opinions regarding the suspension, the council also acknowledged the explanations presented and recognized that the decision was ultimately made for the welfare, stability, and greater good of the student body and the institution. The presence of the Student Electoral Board during the meeting also provided an avenue for clarification, as many officers sought answers and explanations regarding the suspension of elections and the proposed new setup of the election.

The assembly also became a platform for the SPC Presidents to present the remaining projects, activities, and initiatives of their respective departments before the school year officially ends. Other important agendas discussed included the upcoming Turnover Ceremony, SSPC and SPC Legacy Projects, clearance signing duties, and preparations for the council’s final responsibilities as student leaders.

More than just a meeting, the assembly served as a reminder that leadership is not merely about agreement, but about courageously raising concerns, listening to different sides, standing firm on principles, and working together despite differences. As the school year comes to a close, the SSPC remains committed to serving with integrity, accountability, and genuine concern for the student body.

Konting push nalang, bakasyon na gid! We know that this week is the survival mode of your brain cells. But despite the exhaustion, thank you for still showing up, participating, and giving your best all throughout the semester.

So inhale confidence, exhale stress, and trust your hard work. May your stock knowledge work overtime, your essays make sense, kag ang imo nga answer somehow ara sa reviewer nga wala mo nabasa. 😭
