The journey from Romblon found its echo in Capiz, where stories were shared, faith was renewed, and generations came together in Christ.
Young people from across the Archdiocese of Capiz gathered for the RYD Romblon Re-Echo and our monthly youth meeting.
The day opened with updates from our Youth Director, Rev. Fr. Michael Reeve Montorio, who shared the vision for the upcoming activities of our youth ministry. Beyond organizing gatherings, he reminded us that every activity should be an opportunity for formation, discipleship, and a deeper encounter with Christ, so that more young people may find their place in the life of the Church.
The Regional Youth Day delegates echoed the grace of their pilgrimage by sharing their stories, insights, challenges, and the moments that inspired them to truly **Take Courage, Rise Up, and Radiate with Christ**. Their testimonies served as a reminder that the mission continues long after the pilgrimage ends.
Meaningful conversations also took place as youth leaders reflected on the realities faced by young people today, explored ways to create welcoming spaces where faith can flourish, and planned activities that will continue to gather, accompany, and empower the youth of Capiz.
The gathering concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass and the Youth Jubilee Gathering, presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Victor B. Bendico, D.D. Surrounded by former and present youth ministers, the celebration became a beautiful witness to generations of faithful service, united in thanksgiving during this Jubilee Year.
As we continue to take courage, rise up, and radiate with Christ, may every young person become a bearer of hope for the Church and the world. 💙✨
