Proverbs 18:12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

Takeaway:
Haughtiness is a form of pride. When a person is haughty, he thinks he is more important and better than others. Destruction follows after a haughty person. Only by humility a person gets honored.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Takeaway:
Though we tend sometimes to forget to love God and though all forces be against us, to separate us from God. Yet as believers, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. This is the eternal love security from God. What a great promise from God, the everlasting love of God.

Blessed and Victorious Sunday 🙌

What a blessed Sunday! We thank God for the visitors, baptism, the fellowship, and the blessings we received from His Word.

It is truly a joy and comfort to be in God’s church every Sunday. God is always faithful, and He is worthy of all our praise and worship.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Romans 12:14

Takeaway:
The opening scripture has given us a key to eternal blessings. It exhorts us to bless those who persecute us; we should bless and not curse. As Christians, we have a forward and upward life: this means that we have been called only to blessings and not curses. We are the light of the world and must show the world the right way to live a godly life. When we curse, we are not living our nature and the enemy can creep in and destroy.
Some of those who persecute us have a chance of being born again; therefore, if we curse them, all those who have the chance to receive Christ will miss this chance and go to hell. We reap what we sow; if we sow curses, we will reap curses, and if we sow blessings, we will reap blessings. Finally, our Lord Jesus Christ did not curse people - He only cursed a fig tree.

Takeaway:
Are you winning your battles in life? You can only win battles in life when you’re the one more superior. God is the most superior, we can only win our battles, if we win God in our life. We win God by winning the Lord Jesus Christ. It means live your life for the one who gave His life on the cross.
