As we welcome the New Year, we honor Mary, the Mother of God, who leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. Through her faith and obedience, we are reminded to begin the year with trust in God and openness to His grace.

We invite you all to join us in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on New Year’s Eve and January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. Let us thank the Lord for the year that has passed and entrust the coming year to Him through prayer and worship.

Today, our parish gathered for a deeply moving Red Wednesday mass, presided over by Very Rev. Msgr. Rufino Regie Pamposa. Red Wednesday is a crucial initiative that brings to light the suffering of Christians around the world who are persecuted for their faith. As we stood together in prayer, surrounded by the symbolic red lighting, we were reminded of the urgent need to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters who face discrimination, oppression, and violence simply because of their beliefs. This day calls us to reflect on the importance of religious freedom and to advocate for those whose rights are denied. Let us not only offer our prayers but also commit to learning more about the challenges faced by persecuted Christians and finding ways to support them. May our actions bring hope and comfort to those who suffer, and may we continue to work towards a world where everyone can practice their faith without fear. 🙏 "
