The community is proud to announce that our brothers who made their Perpetual Profession last May 9 will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons through the laying on of hands of Most Rev. Victor B. Bendico, D.D., Archbishop of Capiz on June 2, 2026, Tuesday, at 9:00 AM at the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City, Capiz.

We warmly invite you to witness and celebrate this blessed milestone of vocation and service to the Church through your presence and prayers.

A vocation is never born by chance; it is Heaven’s quiet answer to the prayers of the faithful.

Today, we rejoice as Rev. Fr. Ray Gabrelle Coronado Toledo and Rev. Fr. Ted Patrick Navarra Tuvera are ordained to the priesthood at the Metropolitan Cathedral and Archdiocesan Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Their lives now stand as witness that God still calls, still chooses, and still raises shepherds after His own heart for His people.

May their priesthood become channel of grace, hope, and compassion to every soul you encounter.

As you begin this sacred ministry, may Christ continue to sustain you with courage, humility, and unwavering faith.

May your “yes” continue to inspire a new generation to listen and respond to God’s call.

FACILITATORS OF ENCOUNTER 🙏💙

Most Rev. Raul B. Dael, D.D., Bishop of Tandag, touched hearts and left important points for vocation promoters of today in his talk: "Journeying Together - Walking the Path of Vocation."

He shared how he would often hear vocation promoters talk so much about their congregation, their charism, their programs, but not about Jesus. He emphasized that our role is to be facilitators of encounter and witnesses of faith: to recognize, to accompany, and to help awaken what God is already doing.

After all, vocations do happen in a "personal encounter with God who meets every person in their own story, in their own wounds, in their own desires."

On this Good Shepherd Sunday, the Church invites us into a deeper contemplation of Christ, the Good Shepherd, who knows His flock, calls each by name, and lays down His life for their salvation. In a world often marked by uncertainty and noise, His voice remains constant—gentle yet firm, guiding us toward truth, goodness, and eternal life.

May we, as His people, grow in attentiveness to His call, in fidelity to His will, and in charity toward one another. And may those entrusted with the care of souls be strengthened in their vocation, reflecting the compassion and self-giving love of the Shepherd who never abandons His flock.

“Dominus pastor meus, nihil mihi deerit.”
