A vision to see the women of Destiny City Church becoming `Radiant’: radiant with God’s life and grace within, radiant in outer countenance and exuding radiance to others. It is coming from a healthy inner well-being that is reflected in what can be said as a `radiant countenance'. But I have seen a lot of well able gifted women who are marginalized, silenced, shelved, unfulfilled. I coul
d feel their pain and visualize their sad faces that have lost the radiance. I have carried this burden in my heart for years until I finally said, this should not happen to precious women who were fearfully and wonderfully made by God. In answer to my prayer, God gave me this vision captured in the word ‘RADIANCE’ based on the passage in Scripture from Psalm 34:5 - `Those who look to Him are radiant’
RADIANCE is not an organization, it is a vision of seeing women becoming `Radiant’ – radiant with God’s life and grace within, radiant in outer countenance and exuding radiance to others
RADIANCE is an advocacy, to help women experience that it is not the absence of real-life burdens that makes one radiant but rather knowing where to get the enablement and courage to face them. RADIANCE is an EXPERIENCE for every woman, married or single, working or non-working who will take courage to break loose from the ordinary, who desires to discover and find expression of the woman whom God created, who wants God to light up her face, who is excited to experience change in the inner self and outer countenance and step up to be an influence to their families, friends and community relationships. I and the women leaders in our church community are committed to spread this experience. This Radiance Conference 2019 is designed to cause this experience. I pray God to cause His face to shine upon every woman who looks to Him. Welcome to the
