How to be saved?

The answer is simple.
Yet you need to understand its simplicity.

God already provided the way for our salvation... and He wants us to TRUST in His provision.

WHY ALL THE CONFUSION ?

"Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things." 2 Timothy 2:7

Did you ever wonder why there is so much confusion in religion today? Why is it that you can hear so many people teaching contradicting doctrines when they all use the Bible? There is an answer.

Most of the confusion and contradicting doctrine that you hear today is a result of failing to obey God’s command in II Timothy 2:15, to “Rightly Divide the Word of truth”. Most people do not distinguish between the KINGDOM MESSAGE of Christ and his apostles found in Matthew through John and Hebrews through Revelation and that of THE MESSAGE OF GRACE given to and through the apostle Paul in ROMANS through PHILEMON.

We are told to RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH, and to follow PAUL, and failure to do so results in confusion.

WE ASK THAT YOU EXAMINE PRAYERFULLY SOME SCRIPTURAL FACTS KEEPING IN MIND WHAT PAUL SAID IN 1 Corinthians 14:37:

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

ALL REFERENCES ARE FROM THE KING JAMES BIBLE.

1. PAUL IS THE APOSTLE TO THE GENTILES.

Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

2. PAUL RECEIVED HIS MESSAGE BY DIRECT REVELATION AND HIS WORDS ARE THE WORDS OF CHRIST FOR TODAY.

Gal 1:11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

3. PAUL LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR THE CHURCH, CHRIST’S BODY.

1 Cor 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth there upon.

4. PAUL WAS THE FIRST MAN EVER SAVED TOTALLY BY GRACE.

1 Tim 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

5. PAUL WAS GIVEN THE DISPENSATION OF THE GRACE OF GOD.

Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

6. PAUL'S MESSAGE WAS A MYSTERY NOT MADE KNOWN UNTIL REVEALED TO HIM.

Eph 3:3-5 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

7. PAUL PREACHED A DIFFERENT GOSPEL FROM PETER AND WAS SENT TO A DIFFERENT PEOPLE. THE APOSTLES ACKNOWLEGED PAUL’S MINISRTY AND WERE IN AGREEMENT WITH IT.

Gal 2:7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

Gal 2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

WHILE WE DO NOT WORSHIP PAUL, WE DO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE WAS GOD'S CHOSEN VESSEL TO MAKE THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION BY GRACE KNOWN IN THE DISPENSATION OF GRACE AND WE ARE TOLD TO FOLLOW HIM 1 Corinthians 11:1

Before I learned that it was really absolutely nothing but Grace that saved a person I was in limbo. I didn’t know from one day to the next if I was still in the Body of Christ, Did I think something or say something that offended God and He became angry and tossed me out? It sounds ridiculous now thinking back but you’d be surprised how many people think that way. I did not know in my flesh dwelleth no good thing, I was taught keep doing the best you can and you might make it to Heavenly places. I was just about ready to walk away from it all and I completely understand why some do because there is no way a person can save himself it’s just not possible. Why would I even think I could? The answer is because I didn’t know Paul was our Apostle and I was to follow him as he followed Christ, the risen Christ that is. I didn’t know a lot actually I was just following traditions of men......but I learned what God is doing today and I know now in my flesh dwelleth no good thing at all, the only good in me is Christ. And I know God is dispensing Grace over mankind today and that is how we are saved so no man can boast because that flesh it loves to boast! I’m so thankful that it’s not up to me because it was wearing me out trying to make it right with God. The only thing that made me right with God was Christ. Believing on the finished work of the cross is what sealed me into the Body of Christ,nothing more, nothing less. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv Absolutely no works, nothing, notta. You can be saved to and set free from bo***ge by Grace just believe that Christ died for our sins and was buried and rose on the third day. That’s it, it is that simple. Aren’t you glad?

🌱WHY FORGIVE “SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN?” (70×7)

Matthew 18:21-22 KJV 📜
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN” .

🔎 The context of Matthew 18 is how to handle CONFLICTS within the 'LITTLE FLOCK' (Israel’s believing remnant), which is the Messianic Church (see context, Matt 18:15-20).
*//The passage does not talk to or about us today, which are members of the Body of Christ. In terms of forgiveness, Paul's instructions to us is to emulate forgiveness to others, just as God has forgiven us for Christ's sake (Eph 4:32, Col 3:13).//*

But we can infer a 'doctrine' from this passage.

📌We learn that Peter and the 11 other Apostles have been given AUTHORITY⚖ to act in Christ’s absence.

"Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
- (Matthew 18:18-19 KJB).

The context tells us that in light of Jesus’ prior comments about "brethren trespassing against brethren", the Apostle Peter asked a question - "Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?" -

"....seventy times seven...."

Jesus did not randomly pick a number, as some might conclude.
Moreover, unlike other assumptions, we should also never misinterpret Jesus' words as “forgive thy brother countless times.”
The Lord Jesus chose “seventy times seven” because the number 👉490👈 had tremendous prophetic significance in Israel's program.

What's with the number 490?

👆It concerned the RESTORATION OF ISRAEL* and the REBUILDING of her HOLY CITY, JERUSALEM* (Daniel 9:24-27).

In terms of forgiveness, the rabbis (teachers) of that day taught that someone should be forgiven only "THREE" times (based on Amos 1:3,6,9,11,13; Amos 2:1,4,6).

Peter added to that number when he suggested, "until SEVEN times"? (Matt 18:21), but it still was NOT ENOUGH.

Jesus answered, “Until seventy times seven.”
Jesus did not randomly select this number; He was teaching a DOCTRINE about a (special completion).

What prophetic completion could Christ be teaching Peter?

In Daniel 9:24, the Angel Gabriel explained to the Prophet: “SEVENTY WEEKS are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”

The word “week” here means seven, like how in English, the word "dozen" means 12.

As per Daniel 9:24, it would take 👉70 WEEKS of years—
or 490 YEARS—
to CLEANSE the nation ISRAEL. ✨

For 490 years, God would patiently deal with Israel’s sins and purge her of all wickedness,
(to be followed by Jesus Christ’s earthly kingdom and the New Covenant - Dan 9:27).
The 70 weeks began with
Nehemiah chapter 2: ⏳the Rebuilding of Jerusalem’s Wall (circa 445 B.C.,). The 70 weeks will end at Christ’s Second Coming (Revelation).

Dan 9:25-26 explain that 69 weeks of years (or 483 years) were fulfilled before the cross of Calvary, and the final seven years (Dan 9:27) are still awaiting fulfillment (the future seven-year Tribulation).

7 + 62 = 69 weeks (already fulfilled) + 1 remaining week, or the 70th week (7-year Trib).

Just as it took 70 years to cleanse Israel’s land of her idolatry—the Babylonian Captivity (Jer 25:11-12; Jer 29:10-11; Dan 9:2),
—it will also take 👉70 WEEKS of years👈 [or equivalent to 490 years] to CLEANSE her people, Israel, of idolatry.
The 70 Weeks of Daniel is also known as the 2300 Day Prophecy - Dan 8:14)

*//It was 2000+ years now since the clock of the 70 weeks of Daniel has started, what happened to the remaining 1 week or the 70th week?//*

Clue: Daniel's 70th week is about ISRAEL's PROPHETIC program. (Today, we are not Israel, and we are not subject to Prophecy*. We are the church, the Body of Christ, subject to the Mystery* revealed to the apostle Paul .

In conclusion, what Jesus was saying in Matthew 18:22 was like: “Peter, you are to forgive your Jewish to the extent I forgive your Jewish .” (paraphrased).
According to the foregoing verses, the schedule of Daniel 9:24 was operating when Jesus spoke those words to Peter! Amazing!

ALSO, let us close by making a very important textual note. Very few people know the impact of this matter, and even fewer are aware of the “seventy times seven” (490) reading.
Do you know WHY?

Because the more popular modern English versions* today does not say "seventy times seven", but they read as “seventy-seven times” in Matthew 18:22. (*CEV, ESV, NACB, NASB, NET, NIV, NRSV, NWJWT, etc).

Who would be able to see any connection between the 77 of Matthew and the 490 of Daniel? The cross-reference has been embarrassingly destroyed. This is clearly a case of MODERN VERSIONS affecting doctrine—and inhibiting spiritual light and growth. If modern version readers are unaware of a reading other than what they have, then they are unable to ask a question based on that reading unavailable to them. New modern Bibles saying “seventy-seven times” is to show complete incompetence, and ignorance of Daniel 9:24.

🌱The Gospel of our SALVATION

Many times we hear among preachers, that in order to be saved, we must "repent".

But in the Bible, repentance simply means a "change of one's mind", which is an INNER thing-- it happens in YOUR MIND.

SALVATION is received upon faith/believing in the Gospel of Christ. But the first step that can lead to faith is repentance, that is, to know YOUR STATE before God.

📜What does God say about YOU?

Romans 3:10,23 (KJV)
[10] As it is written, There is NONE RIGHTEOUS, no, NOT ONE:..
[23] For ALL have SINNED, and come short of the glory of God;

Knowing that you are a SINNER allows you to see your NEED of salvation.

Not only are your "deeds" offensive to God, but also, God is offensed by WHO YOU ARE, your "identity"--you are "in Adam", which is why no matter your how good your deeds are, what God sees is the vile, sinful, corrupt Adamic nature that YOU ARE IN.

But, Someone redeemed you.
Someone paid for your SINS - (He DIED for your sins), and Someone is freely giving you His life now (He rose again from the dead for you).

That Someone, is Jesus Christ.

He is God that became a man, who died the death of the cross and shed His blood for the redemption of the sons of Adam, and reversed man's fallen destiny through His death, burial and resurrection (Romans 5:15-19).

Now salvation is FREE and equally available to all through the offer of GOD'S GRACE. 🕊🌱

If you are looking for salvation, here it is right now! You can be saved right now just by believing in Jesus Christ, and on His death, burial and resurrection for your salvation! (Rom 4:25, Eph 2:8-9, 1:13-14).

The moment you BELIEVED, a "miracle" happened. From being "in Adam", a sinner, hell-bound, blinded by satan and in darkness, you are TRANSFORMED into a "new man" and had been placed into the New Creature, which is "in Christ"! (2Cor 5:17, 1Cor 12:13, 20, 27, 1Cor 15:22, Rom 5:1, Eph 2:1-10, Col 2:10-15, etc).

Jesus Christ is the Way! He was made 'sin' for us, that we might be made the 'righteousness of God' in Him (Jn 14:6, 2Cor 5:21). How wonderful is that?

🌱The Bible 'TO' You: Who is Talking to You in the Bible

All that is written in the Bible is written for our "learning" (2Tim 3:16-17), but NOT all that is written in the Bible is for our direct "obedience" (2Tim 2:15).

In the Bible, there are two major kinds of people: the Jews, and the Gentiles.

These two major kinds of people are also the two major kinds of "AUDIENCES" in the Bible.

In rightly dividing the word of truth, knowing who is the (audience) or to whom a message is spoken/written is important. But, it is also equally important to know "WHO" is the writer/speaker of a certain message. ✉✍

In the Bible (especially in the New Testament), it teaches us that there are two kinds of apostles;
📌the TWELVE apostles, and,
the 📌apostle PAUL.

(The word "apostle" being defined as someone who is "sent", or "God-sent").

In Christ's earthly ministry, He chose 12 APOSTLES to preach a certain MESSAGE to a certain group of PEOPLE. 👇

Matthew 10:2-8 (KJB)
(Words in capital are for emphasis)
[2] Now the names of the TWELVE APOSTLES are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
[3] Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
[4] Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

[5] These TWELVE Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, 👉GO NOT INTO THE WAY OF THE GENTILES, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
[6] But GO RATHER 👉TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.
[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, 👉THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND.👈
[8] 🔥HEAL the sick, CLEANSE the lepers, RAISE the dead, CAST OUT devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

The 12 apostles, led by Simon Peter (who was given the keys of the Kingdom, Matt 16:15-19) were the kind of apostles that were sent to ISRAEL (Matt 10:6)✔.
They were commanded to not go into the way of the GENTILES (Matt 10:5)✔, and the message that they were to preach concerns the "KINGDOM" that would come to Israel (Matt 10:7)✔, accompanied with SIGNS and WONDERS (Matt 10:8)✔.

On the other hand, there is also another kind of apostle apart from the twelve. And the reason why he is not numbered among the 12, is because he was sent by God to ANOTHER group of people, sent with ANOTHER message to preach.

He is the apostle Paul (Saul of Tarsus, Acts 9:11-16).👇

Romans 11:13 KJB
[13] For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I AM THE APOSTLE OF THE GENTILES, I magnify mine office:

Apostle Paul is actually the only apostle in the Bible that says that he is the "apostle of the Gentiles". And he was MAGNIFYING his position, which means--he is making an emphasis, zooming in, clarifying, that he is the apostle from whom the Gentiles should listen to.

THAT is why, the gospel by which we are saved today, is the gospel that the apostle Paul preached: 📜✝️🕊

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJB)
[1] Moreover, brethren, I (Paul) declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
[2] BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
[3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
👉HOW THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures;👈
[4] 👉AND THAT HE WAS BURIED👈, and that

Apostle Paul, (unlike the 12 apostles who were sent to Israel), was sent to the Gentiles, sent to preach (another) specific message for salvation, which is the "preaching of the cross"; the "gospel of Christ" (1Cor 1:17, Rom 1:16). All the 13 epistles that Paul wrote was according to the revelation from the risen Lord Jesus Christ in heaven, which was a "MYSTERY" kept secret since the world began! (Rom 16:25-26 KJB).
That means, what we read in the 13 epistles of the apostle Paul, was not revealed to anyone prior to him.

Galatians 1:11-12
[11] But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is NOT AFTER MAN.
[12] For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, BUT BY THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST.

📜✔Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles for today's dispensation and God's message to us today for direct obedience is found in Paul's 13 epistles: (Romans, 1&2Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians, 1&2 Thessalonians, 1&2Timothy, Titus and Philemon).

2 Timothy 2:7-8
[7] Consider what I (Paul) say; and the Lord give thee UNDERSTANDING in all things.
[8] Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to 👉MY GOSPEL:

1 Corinthians 14:37-38
[37] If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that THE THINGS THAT I (Paul) WRITE UNTO YOU ARE THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD.
[38] But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

Understand that NO ONE teaches here that you should throw away the rest of the Bible outside Paul, but RATHER, letting you see and acknowledge what message is directly written to and about us (as Gentiles).

And those who have BELIEVED the gospel that was preached by the apsotle Paul; 》 how that the man Christ Jesus, the Son of God, DIED to pay for OUR SINS, and was BURIED and ROSE AGAIN from the dead for our JUSTIFICATION《 - (1Cor 15:1-4),
👉 has been SAVED, REDEEMED, FORGIVEN OF SINS, HAVE PEACE WITH GOD, SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, SPIRITUALLY BAPTIZED into the church the BODY OF CHRIST, BLESSED WITH ALL SPIRUTUAL BLESSINGS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES, HEAVEN-BOUND, and many, many more!---all in Christ, and according to God's glorious message of GRACE that He revealed through the apostle Paul. 🌟💖

THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT GOSPEL & IT's CRYSTAL CLEAR.

★in JESUS' Earthly Ministry we can see in Matthew the word used is "MANY" ?❓

🌱When the Bible is Not Written 'TO' You

Don't get the title wrong. All that is written in the Bible is written for our "learning" (2Tim 3:16-17), but NOT all that is written in the Bible is written for our direct "obedience" (2Tim 2:15).

In the Bible, there are 2 major kinds of people:
Jews, and Gentiles.

The Jews were the Israelites, which were the descendants of the 12 sons of Jacob (Israel).
Jacob, one of the sons of Isaac, and Isaac, the promised seed to Abraham, and Abraham, the man whom God called out from among his kindred, the 'Friend of God' (Gen 12:1-3, Jam 2:23).

The pecularity of the Jews as God's CHOSEN PEOPLE started with the covenant that God made to their forefathers; Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God promised Abraham a "land", which would also be inherited by his seed (Israelites), - Gen 13:15, 17:6-8.

But before Israel could receive the land, God waited yet 430 years for them to multiply (Exo 12:40-41, Gen 15:13-16) in order for them to subdue all other nations, and be born as a "NATION" when they would be brought out from the land of Egypt with mighty SIGNS and WONDERS by God (Exo 19:4, Deu 6:22, 7:19, 26:8, 29:3, 34:11, etc).

From then on, God’s chosen nation was ISRAEL, and when God brought Israel out of a strong, mighty arm, He would establish a "covenant" with them also, (in addition to the already existing covenants that they were under), which is the "LAW COVENANT" (The Ten Commandments + 600 more laws).

[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore,📌 >>> IF ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, >>>THEN ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:📌
[6] And ye shall be unto me 👑a kingdom of priests, and 🤲an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Here we see that God chose Israel as His chosen NATION, to be a "kingdom of priests and an holy nation". But in order for that to happen, Israel must also do her part, which was to KEEP all the COMMANDMENTS!

And this was Israel's response:

Exodus 24:7 KJB
[7] And he took the BOOK OF THE COVENANT, and read in the audience of the people: and they (Israel) said,
👉All that the LORD hath said WILL WE DO, and BE OBEDIENT.👈

Israel AGREED to do all the commandments! And there was a sprinkling of blood to ratify this covenant.

Exodus 24:8 KJB
[8] And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

And that started God's dealing with Israel through the covenants. The Old Law Covenant was an "If~Then" condition, and if Israel obeys, it will what distinguish them as "God's people".

Leviticus 26:3, 12
[3] If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;...
[12] 👉And I will walk among you, and WILL BE YOUR GOD, and YE SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.👈

Meanwhile, those other people from all other nations were called "Gentiles". When Israel was born as a NATION, there has been a difference between Israel and the Gentiles in God's eyes.

And when God spoke, most times he would only spoke to and through Israel. Israel were to be his channel of blessing to the world, in accordance with prophecy (John 4:22, Matthew 5:13-15, Isaiah ch 60, Isaiah 61:6-7, Gen 12:1-3).

🌱The Need to Know of Who You are in the Bible

Are you a Jew? Are you Gentile? By now you must know the answer to that. While Paul's epistles teach that today "there is neither Jew nor Gentile", practically, it will greatly help us understand what part of the scripture is written to us for direct obedience and instruction if we understand who is talking to whom. Understand that all the scriptures in the Bible were written by JEWS (God's people), because to them were given the oracles of God (Romans 3:2). We as Gentiles, cannot just open what page we land on in the Bible and blindly follow it without respecting the direct context of the passage. We need to "STUDY"!

[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.
