It is because of our commitment to church planting and missions that BEREAN SCHOOL OF MINISTRY was started in 1986. Hundreds of our graduates are now serving as pastors and leaders in local churches,
missionaries in local and foreign mission fields, and influencers and messengers of the gospel message in the workplaces. Berean School of Ministry is a church-based training school of Destiny City Church. The natural setting for ministry training is the local church. It is not a seminary separate from the church but a component of the church. This as a major determining factor in the dynamics of our training program and emphases. We seek to discern God's current move in the Church and make constant adjustment to be in step with God's Spirit. WHAT HAS BEEN THE OVERALL IMPACT OF BSM ON PGCAG? Berean School of Ministry is recognized training school of PGCAG. Particularly, BSM serves the PGCAG Home Missions Department in the training of church planters to help reach the church planting goals of our movement.
1. BSM has significantly added to the number of work force that are active in the harvest field
2. BSM has added to the number of new AoG churches through church planting.
3. BSM has demonstrated a ministerial training that includes placement – as the BSM tagline says: We “We train those who will plant the church that they will pastor, and pastor the church that they will plant.”
4. Many BSM Alumni are now occupying in leadership positions in districts and sections and departments.
5. The first PGCAG Filipino missionaries to Cambodia are BSM graduates.
6. BSM alumni are propagators of the church planting and missionary vision in our movement
BSM ONLINE
The restrictions due to the COVID19 pandemic are not reason enough to stop the work of planting and building the Church. Hence, we decided to start BSM Online in 2021.We are not deviating from our fundamental purpose and philosophy of training as a ministerial school. Using technology and a workable platform, we make adjustments in methodology because of the current situation. Who Can Go Berean Online?
