"Running Back to God"

Remember the story of Jonah?

A man who ran away from God's calling, only to find himself in the middle of a great storm. His story reminds us that disobedience leaves us defenseless against life's storms, and sometimes we may find ourselves overwhelmed by the consequences of turning away from God. Yet, it also reveals God's amazing grace—because no matter how far we wander, we can always run back to Him.

‎Jonah's great prayer teaches us three powerful steps:
‎1. Thanksgiving
‎2. Repentance
‎3. Rededication
‎
‎"But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to You. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, 'Salvation comes from the Lord.'" — Jonah 2:9

‎We all have turning points in life, just like Jonah. The question is: Will we run farther from God, or will we run back to Him? No storm is too great for God's grace. Today is always a good day to return to the One who never stopped waiting for you.

‎A striking reminder that Christianity is not meant to be hidden or lived only when others are watching. Just as an "urban legend" stays in the shadows, believers are called instead to be the salt and light of the world, boldly reflecting Christ in both public and private.

‎Let us be reminded by the word GARLIC as a guide for living an authentic Christian life:

‎ G – God's Word: Stay rooted in scripture as your daily guide.
‎ A – Adoration: Worship God with a sincere and grateful heart.
‎ R – Repentance: Turn away from sin and seek God's forgiveness daily.
‎ L – Love: Show Christ-like love through words and actions.
‎ I – Integrity: Live a life that is consistent, even in private.
‎ C – Commitment: Remain faithful in your walk and service to God.
‎
‎The message is clear: faith is not a mask to wear on Saturdays only, but a life to live every day. May every believer choose to walk in the light, reflecting Christ through genuine faith, unwavering integrity, and wholehearted commitment.
