Jose Colin Bagaforo emphasized that the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte should be viewed not as political persecution, but as a constitutional process meant to uphold accountability among public officials.

The bishop stressed that transparency, due process, and the pursuit of truth are essential in restoring public trust in institutions, urging leaders and citizens alike to allow justice to take its course peacefully and fairly.

“Let evidence be examined. Let truth emerge. Let justice prevail,” Bishop Bagaforo said.
