Trials tests us in our faith.
Brothers and sisters, ikalipay ta ang trials. Trials makes us strong. It makes us see that the Lord reveals Himself to us everyday. The trials and tribulations He allows in our lives are part of the working together of all things for good.

It's also a matter of response, we need wisdom in our trials to discern the proper response:

We can rejoice in trials, when we are convinced that God is in control of the time and intensity of our trials.

We can rejoice in trials, we we are convinced that God has a specific purpose for allowing it.

We can rejoice in trials, we we are convinced that it is designed to meet a specific need in our lives.

We can rejoice in trials, when we are convinced that these trials will help us measure our spiritual growth.

Trials and tribulations come with both a purpose and a reward. "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. . . . Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).

“𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑨𝒎 𝑰, 𝑳𝒐𝒓𝒅 — 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆” (𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒂𝒉 6:8)

Dear youth, as we begin another school year, God is once again calling us—like Isaiah—to go into the world and proclaim His message. Our mission field isn’t far away; it’s right where we are: in our classrooms, among our friends, in our families, and even with strangers we meet along the way. We are His Isaiahs in this time and in this place.

God commissions us daily to bring ourselves and others back to Him—not only through words, but through how we live, love, and forgive. We may face rejection, but like Jesus, we are called to respond with mercy, patience, and joy rooted in our living faith.

As we step into S.Y. 2025–2026, may we be constantly reminded of the theme, , and take it as a challenge to reflect Christ in everything we do.

This school year, may our prayer be simple yet bold:

We're calling all children aged 9-14 to participate in:

🌟 Bible Quiz Bee (Ages 7-9) 🌟
Test your knowledge of the Minor Prophets! (Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi)

Accuracy (90%): Correct answers are key!
Knowledge Breadth (10%): Demonstrate your understanding of context, characters, and themes.

🎭 Child Storyteller Contest (Ages 9-14) 🎭
Bring biblical stories to life!
Bible version used must be stated prior to the contest.

Content (40%): Accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
Delivery (40%): Vocal projection, expressive language, and engagement. (3-5 minutes)
Creativity (20%): Originality and captivating storytelling.

🎤 Child Preacher Contest (Ages 9-12) 🎤
Share your message with power and grace!

Content (40%): Biblical accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
Delivery (40%): Vocal projection, persuasive language, and confidence. (3-5 minutes)
Application (20%): Applying the message to real-life situations.

Bible Verse Memory Challenge (Ages 7-9)
Verse Selection:
- Participants are free to choose any verses from the Bible.
- Participants must provide the judges a printed copy of the verses they intend to recite prior to the challenge. This copy will be used for verification.
- Participants must provide the Book, Chapter and verse number for each verse they are reciting.

Accuracy (90%): Correctness of the recited verses, including word-for-word accuracy, the book, chapter and verse number.
Number of Verses (10%): The total number of verses recited within the 5-minute time limit.
General Rules:
Participants must be within the specified age range.
Participants must be residents of the district they represent.
One representative per district for each category.
Judges' decisions are final.
Participants must demonstrate respect and sportsmanship.

🏆 Goal: To foster spiritual growth, encourage biblical literacy, and provide a platform for children to shine!
