Our Story

Church Mission • To preach the true Gospel of Christ to all men. (Mark 16:15) • To make disciples of baptized believers of Christ in all nations through systematic Bible instruction for obedience to everything that He commanded. (Matthew 28:19) • To equip church members for the work of ministering to one another. (Ephesians 4:11-12) • To worship God corporately as the body of Christ in Spirit and Truth. (John 4:24) • To establish small groups for purposes of fellowship, edification, exhortation, and mutual care. (Hebrews 10:24-25) • To send every disciple to do the mission work of proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to all men. (Mark 16:15) • To preserve, safeguard, and contend¬ for the Truth which is the Word of God by being its pillar and foundation. (1 Timothy 3:15) • To proclaim to the world the excellent qualities of the Living God who called them out of a life shrouded in darkness into a new life illuminated by Christ who is Light. (1 Peter 2:9) • To make known to the powers and authorities in the spiritual world the innumerable aspects of God’s wisdom in saving the members of His church. (Ephesians 3:10) • To manifest God’s fullness everywhere through the resurrection life of Christ filling every member of the church by the Spirit of God. (Ephesians 1:22-23) • To pray to God corporately for leaders and members of the church, for all men, and for all those who are in authority in human government. (Ephesians 6:19-20; 1 Timothy 2:1-2) • To celebrate as often the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s death, resurrection, second coming, and the unity of his church. (1 Corinthians 11) • To support willingly the church in its mission of preaching, teaching, caring, administrating, and soul winning through financial giving. • To mete out Biblical discipline to church members for the purpose of correction and restoration. (Galatians 6:1-2) Church Vision An assembly of men and women saved by the grace of God through faith in the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, regenerated, sealed, baptized into the church which is Christ’s body, and indwelt by the Holy Spirit living sanctified and godly lives, becoming more like Christ in character through the process of discipleship leading to a gradual and progressive spiritual transformation, worshipping the True and Living God through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ individually and corporately in Spirit and Truth, committed to serving one another in love in Christ’s body which is the church of the Living God with their spiritual gifts, having a common bond of fellowship in the abiding Spirit of God, and proclaiming Christ to the world as salt and light not only in words but by good works, destined to reign together with the Lord Jesus Christ in the coming age and through all eternity.
