Last Friday, August 20, 2026, the WRD Young Watchers Department gathered for the Youth Month 2026 Kick-Off. Through the message of our beloved Ptr. Jessie Zaldivia, the youth were reminded to keep their faith, trust God, and continue serving Him with their talent. His message reminded us that even when we do not see the way yet, we can still move forward because God is with us.

The celebration continued with yells, games, and fellowship that brought everyone together. It was a time to connect, and start the month one purpose. As we move forward, may we continue to believe, and be ready for the breakthrough God has prepared for us.

The cadets participated in a meaningful activity inspired by Genesis 2:8–14, where they were encouraged to express through coloring and drawing how they see and feel their own uniqueness. Through their artwork, they were reminded that each person is wonderfully created with their own abilities, qualities, and purpose.

This activity aimed to strengthen their appreciation of themselves and help them recognize that being special does not mean being perfect. Every cadet is uniquely created by God, valued, and given the opportunity to grow into the person He intended them to be.

God Showed His Love ❤️✨

This week, our Cadets Department had a meaningful time learning about God’s great love through 1 John 4:9. The young hearts were reminded that God did not simply tell us that He loves us, but He showed it by sending His only Son, Jesus, into the world so that we may have life through Him.

Through the lesson, they learned that God’s love is real, God’s love is big, and God’s love gives life. They discovered how Jesus came to teach, heal, and ultimately give His life for our sins. As they continue to grow in God’s Word, may these young hearts always remember and share the greatest love God has shown to all of us.

This Sunday Our Cadets discovered How to put their trust in God.

It revealed to them that:
📖 God's word is absolutely true.
🤍 God does not lie.
🌈 God keeps His promises.
💪 God is faithful.
💖 God is always good.

We are reminded by our memory verse from Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

Knowing that Jesus is always with them and will lead them to every step of the way, may our cadets continue to deepen their faith in God no matter what!

Training Young Hearts in Grace ✨❤️

This week our Cadets Department had a meaningful time learning about family through God's grace. Through the story of Samson and Delilah they learned that God's grace covers our mistakes and helps families to stay together in love. They were reminded that families may face challenges, but with God's grace we can choose love, forgiveness, and unity at home.

To end today's lesson, they did a coloring activity of Samson and Delilah. Their creativity and excitement showed how much they enjoyed learning. We're grateful for theses young hearts who are growing in God's word and learning to reflect His grace in their families.

Last Sunday our cadets under the Youth Department officially kicked off with a meaningful and inspiring session centered on the theme, "God's Amazing Love." Through the activity, "Draw an Image of How the Love of God Works in Your Life," each child expressed their understanding of God's unconditional love in a unique and creative way. Their artwork beautifully reflected the joy, hope, grace, and blessings they have experienced through Him.

It was a wonderful reminder that God's love can be seen and felt even through the eyes of a child. As we begin this journey together, we pray that our cadets will continue to grow in faith, deepen their relationship with the Lord, and always be rooted in the truth of His amazing love.
