57 โWhy canโt you decide for yourselves what is right? 58 When you are on the way to court with your accuser, try to settle the matter before you get there. Otherwise, your accuser may drag you before the judge, who will hand you over to an officer, who will throw you into prison. 59 And if that happens, you wonโt be free again until you have paid the very last penny.[f]โ

13 About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 โDo you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?โ Jesus asked. โIs that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.โ
Mga kapatid sa ating Panginoon, huwag nating hayaan na may magamit ang kaaway laban sa atin. There will be people or even situations whom will do things that will stir up our emotions and would try to destroy our peace. Some will lie, deceive and manipulate us into doing or saying things that are not pleasing to God or that will lead us to sin. DO NOT LET THEM. Disregard feelings. Let the truth and peace of the Lord took over our lives. Let the Holy Spirit to take root in our hearts so we can bear much fruit.
Jesus would tell us that "When you are on the way to court with your accuser, try to settle the matter before you get there." Jesus is telling us to settle any conflicts, forgive, reconcile, and make amends. I will repeat, Do not allow the enemy to have any thing that can be used against us. We must not let the enemy have anything to exploit us.
Forgiveness is not only for those who do us wrong but also for us whom they done wrong. If we forgive not only for the sake of those who forgave us but also so that we also can be forgiven. As Jesus said in a prayer "Forgive us as we forgive those who sin against us.
I know it's hard especially when those people keep on repeating the same things over and over again. But if ourselves do not forgive, the enemy will just use these feelings and moments of vulnerabilities to his advantage. Much worst if this unforgiveness leads us to much greater sin. Baka magamit pa yan na ng kaaway na maging dahilan na di tayo makapasok sa kaharian ng Diyos. Repent and Forgive!
And so my brothers and sister in Christ, I urge you to repent of our sins, forgive one another, love one another, help each other and praise and worship God with our brethren in Christ Jesus.
