β€”Exodus 20:1-21

God gave His commandments not to make life harder, but to lead His people toward what is right.

Because without the truth and boundaries, the world easily falls into chaos, where everyone follows their own desires.

Even today, many voices try to define what is right and wrong, but God’s Word remains true and unchanging that remind us that His ways are always for our good and meant to guide us in the way we should live.

In the middle of our busy week, let’s hit pause, take a breath, and be reminded of God’s goodness.

Sama-sama po tayo sa ating Midweek Online Devotion every 1st and 3rd week of the month as we dive deeper into His Word together.

Patience is like cooking something over low heat. Minsan, matetempt kang lakasan ang apoy para lang bumilis ang proseso, lalo na kapag parang ang tagal mo nang naghihintay. Pero may mga bagay na hindi dapat minamadali, because rushing the process can ruin what was meant to be PREPARED CAREFULLY.

And in the same way, God often works in seasons that steady trust. Hindi man natin laging naiintindihan kung bakit tumatagal ang proseso, but sometimes God is doing something deeper than what we can see while we wait.

Ganito rin ang paalala ng Psalms 37 tungkol sa patience, hindi lang ito simpleng β€œwaiting,” but holding on kahit hindi pa nakikita ang sagot, remaining firm even in difficult seasons, at patuloy na nagtitiwala sa tamang oras ng Diyos.

Because patience is not formed in EASY moments. It is shaped in seasons where we are TESTED to trust God beyond what we can understand.

Kaya sa mga panahong tila mabagal ang proseso, remember this: God is not delaying you, He is preparing you.

Madalas, sobrang dami nating iniisip at ginagawa to the point na napapabayaan na natin ang pinakamahalagaβ€”ang relasyon natin sa Diyos.

Just like Martha, it’s easy to become busy, and distracted with many things. But in the middle of all the noise, Jesus reminds us that one thing is truly necessary: TO SIT AT HIS FEET.

Kaya sa gitna ng maraming responsibilidad, huwag nating kalimutang unahin ang oras kasama ang Diyos, because being near to Him will always be the BETTER CHOICE.

β€œDo not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Anxiety steals peace. It fills the mind with fear, worry, and questions we cannot control.

But God invites us to lift everything to Him with thanksgiving. Because prayer is not only about asking, it is about trusting that God hears and responds in His perfect time.

So today, what are you focusing on:

Right waiting is like trusting a seed you have already planted, you take care of it, you nurture it, and you wait patiently, not feeling rushed or frustrated, because you know the RIGHT TIME will come, and something will eventually grow from what you planted.

And from that, we can see that waiting is not meant to feel like wasting time, it is meant to be a season of trust. But when we allow uncertainty to sway us, we might end up responding wrong, which leads us to lose more than time. We lose peace, the joy in the waiting, and the very patience that God is forming in us.

And that is why it matters how we wait.
