Your church can never give you rest. The doctrine, nor the pastor, can never give you rest. But Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 NHEB)

We can only find rest in Jesus.

Luke 11:1 (NET) Now Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he stopped, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

God wants to SAVE Sinners

The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. (2 Peter 2:9)

Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. (Ezekiel 18:30b)

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Revelations 3:20)

Backsliders all have some many area of their heart and life where they will not surrender and not submit to God. Why do backsliders backslide?

Backsliders want to sin. Backsliders have desires that they place above God, making money, career, recreation, unhealthy relationships, and they're distracted until they lose their salvation. Some say they were offended and they became bitter and dishonest. Some are deconstructing their faith which means they're doubting everything. And some are caught up in rebellion.

I thank the Lord for putting me here in this Fellowship where ordinary people like me can lay my life down and change the world.

I found my home in CFM.
