Text: Eph. 3:16
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.
1. WHO IS THE INNER MAN?
The inner man refers to the spiritual aspect of a person.
2 Cor. 4:16
2. WHY MUST THE INNER MAN STRENGTH?
A. To withstand trials and tribulation.
B. To resist sin and temptations.
C. To manifest Christ in us.
3. HOW IS THE INNER MAN STRENGTHENED?
A. Through the Holy Spirit.
B. Through the Word of God.
C. Through Prayer.
D. Through Fellowship and Worship.
E. Through Trials.
4. CHARACTERS OF A STRONG INNER MAN:
A. Steadfast in Faith.
B. Humble in Spirit.
C. Peaceful Under Pressure.
D. Obedient to God's Will.
E. Joyful in Suffering.
CONCLUSION:
Ang Dios maoy maglig-on sa atong espirituhanong kinabuhi pinaagi sa iyang Espiritu. Busa duol sa Dios aron malig-on ang imong kinabuhi ug paningkamoti pagpangita pagbuhat sa mga butang nga espirutahanon sama sa pagtuon sa Pulong sa Dios, pag-ampo, pagsimba pinaagi sa Espiritu ug Kamatuoran ug pagmasinugtanon sa Dios bisan paman sa mga pagsulay. "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything flows from it."
Emphasize: The Importance to Guard One's Heart.
Jeremiah17: 9-10 Heart is deceitful and desperately wicked and the Lord search every ones heart and give reward how they live.
What do I need as a Christian?
1. Guard ~ heart with God's Word.
We must guard from:
a. Sin
b. Lies and Deception from Satan.
c. Idolatry
2. Seek ~ God's word wholeheartedly.
Hiw do I seek God wholeheartedly?
a. Make daily habits Bible Reading.
b. Pray to open heart and mind to understand Gods words.
c. Apply Gods words and live according Gods will.
3. Store Up ~ God's Word in your hearts.
Why I need to store up Gods word in my heart?
a. Heart Speak - What is in the heart will come out.
b. Protection - God's words protection from every evil desires.
c. Transform - Gods words help transforming lives.
