Most Holy Trinity Parish Ragay The Official page of the Most Holy Trinity Parish, Poblacion, Ragay, Camarines Sur. A priest was also assigned, Very Rev. Juan Baron. Rev. Msgr.

The first settlement in this place was organized at the right side of Pacolago River and the people named their community Pacolago. Its proximity to Ragay Gulf, however, made it an easy prey to pirates who often raided the place and killed natives after looting their properties. So the natives decided to move to a site in the upper part of the river which they thought would be safer. They gave the

ir place a new name, Ragay, meaning a place with one belief, religion, customs and traditions. The people were also united by one objective which was to defend Ragay from the pirates. Then they move to a place called Sampaloc until the arrival of the Spaniards which also ended Moro piracy. Remnants of the concrete walling of the old church and cemetery are still to be found today. The parish was founded in 1753 when it was finally separated from Lupi. The first church was made of bamboo and nipa and dedicated to the Most Blessed Trinity. In 1829, when the division of Camarines was effected into Norte and Sur, Ragay was made a part of Norte until October 1846 when it was reverted back as part of Camarines Sur. A bigger church was made from molasses and lime but when the Americans came and burned the town in 1900, the church was not spared including the altar and the images of the big patron saint. Church reconstruction was initiated in 1920 under the later Cirilo Aquino. Before this, a priest from Libmanan would go to Ragay for weddings, fiestas, and the administration of other sacraments. In 1968, a big fire guttled down the church and convent. The present concrete church and convent were built through the efforts of Rt. Benjamin Reblando, H.P., former parish priest, in 1970.

With hearts open to God's call and minds eager to grow in faith, catechists from the Most Holy Trinity Vicariate gathered for the ๐Œ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐•๐ข๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐’๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐š๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ held on August 1โ€“2, 2026, at Fr. Jularch's Hall, SKK Formation Center, Most Holy Trinity Parish โ€“ Ragay.

Over two days of prayer, learning, reflection, and fellowship, participants deepened their understanding of the sacred mission of catechesisโ€”embracing the responsibility of proclaiming Christ, nurturing faith, and accompanying others on their journey toward Him. More than acquiring knowledge, this seminar renewed each catechist's commitment to become faithful witnesses of the Gospel and instruments of God's love in their respective communities.

May this formation continue to strengthen every catechist as they joyfully answer the Lord's call to teach, serve, and evangelize, bringing His light to every heart they encounter.

Ngayong kapistahan nina San Lazaro, Santa Martha, at Santa Maria ng Betania, ginugunita natin ang magkakapatid na naging tapat na kaibigan at minamahal na mga alagad ng ating Panginoong Hesus. Si Santa Martha ay larawan ng masigasig na paglilingkod, si Santa Maria ay huwaran ng pakikinig at pagmamahal sa Salita ng Diyos, at si San Lazaro ay naging tanda ng kapangyarihan ni Kristo bilang muling pagkabuhay at buhay (Juan 11). Sa kanilang tahanan sa Betania, nasilayan ang pananampalataya, pagmamahal, at pagtitiwala sa Panginoon sa gitna ng kagalakan at pagsubok.

Ipinapaalala sa atin ng buhay nina Martha, Maria, at Lazaro na ang tunay na pagsunod kay Kristo ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa ating paglilingkod, kundi maging sa ating pakikinig sa Kanyang Salita at buong pagtitiwala sa Kanyang kalooban. Tulad nila, nawa'y maging bukas ang ating mga puso sa presensya ni Hesus sa ating tahanan, pamilya, at pang-araw-araw na buhay. Sa gitna ng ating mga gawain, alalahanin nating ang pananampalataya, pagmamahal, at pag-asa sa Diyos ang siyang nagbibigay ng tunay na kahulugan sa lahat ng ating ginagawa.

Panalangin kay San Lazaro, Santa Martha, at Santa Maria ng Betania

O katotong tunay ng Panginoon, San Lazaro, kapatid nina Martha at Maria ng Betania, ikaw na patron ng mga may sakit at nahihirapan, tulungan mo kaming gumaling sa aming mga karamdaman at ilayo sa mga bagay na makapipinsala sa aming kalusugan. Nawa'y maging inspirasyon namin ang iyong matatag na pananampalataya, ang iyong pagmamahal sa Panginoon, at ang iyong malasakit sa pamilya. Amen.

O mapalad na Santa Martha, ang iyong pananampalataya ang nag-udyok sa iyo na kilalanin si Hesus bilang Anak ng Diyos at Mesiyas. Ipanalangin mo kami upang lumago sa pananampalataya, pag-asa, at pag-ibig, at maging tapat sa paglilingkod sa Diyos at sa kapwa. Amen.

O pinagpalang Santa Maria ng Betania, huwaran ng kapakumbabaan at taimtim na pakikinig sa Salita ng Diyos, turuan mo kaming pahalagahan ang mga biyayang Kanyang ipinagkakaloob. Pagkalooban mo kami ng kasipagan sa paggawa ng mabuti at ng pusong laging handang maglingkod at magpuri sa Diyos. Amen.
