PRESENTATION OF REYNAS FOR SANTACRUZAN 2026

The Santacruzan is a treasured Filipino Catholic tradition celebrated every month of May in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It commemorates the historic search of Reyna Elena and her son, Constantine, for the Holy Cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified. More than a procession, the Santacruzan is a celebration of faith, devotion, grace, and the enduring beauty of Christian values passed on through generations.

The Nuestra Señora De Salvacion Parish proudly presents the beautiful Reynas who will grace this year’s Santacruzan 2026. Each Reyna symbolizes strength, elegance, and steadfast devotion, carrying forward a tradition deeply rooted in faith and inspired by the legacy of Reyna Elena.

As we celebrate the 6th Sunday of Easter, the new members of the Lectors and Commentators Guild were officially installed, while the old members renewed their commitment to continue serving as proclaimers of God’s Word. Just as Philip proclaimed Christ to the people of Samaria.

As we also celebrate Mother’s Day, we honor all mothers whose love reflects the care and presence of God in our lives. Like the Spirit of truth that comforts and guides us, mothers continue to become a source of strength, understanding, and unconditional love to their families. Today, we thank them for their sacrifices, patience, and countless ways of caring for the people they love. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and mother figures who continue to inspire us through their faith and selfless love.

On this day, our PREX community gathered as one family, sharing moments of reflection and camaraderie. With the theme “𝘗𝘙𝘌𝘟: 𝘎𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘺 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘺,” the gathering reminded everyone of the importance of growing in faith while walking together in unity. The program continued with a short break filled with simple games and time to bond with one another. This was followed by a Holy Mass. After the Mass, 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗼 gave a spiritual talk, sharing reflections that helped deepen everyone’s faith and understanding of God.

As we celebrate the Divine Mercy Sunday, our parish also welcomed Most Rev. Jose R. Rojas Jr., D.D. for his pastoral visit at Sitio Sampaloc, Banga Caves, Ragay, Camarines Sur. He spent time meeting the parishioners, especially the members of the Barangay Pastoral Council and different ministries, to check on how the parish continues to grow in faith and service.
