SET SAIL | 05โ€ข10โ€ข2026

Sometimes, God calls us to leave the shore โ€” the place where we feel safe, comfortable, and in control. But faith begins where our limitations end.

The waves may represent our fears, struggles, and uncertainties, but they should never be greater than our focus on Him.

โ€œCall to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.โ€ โ€” Jeremiah 33:3

Godโ€™s invitation is clear:
๐Ÿ“ Call again.
๐Ÿ“ Believe again.
๐Ÿ“ Trust again.

You are NOT stuck, NOT forgotten, and NOT finished. What man declares dead, God can still resurrect. His plans are deeper, wider, and greater than anything we can imagine.

Set sail. Let God take control.

Last Sundayโ€™s word reminded us of the Parable of the Ten Virgins in the gospel of Matthew 25:1-13 โ€” not everyone who looks ready is truly prepared. The wise bridesmaids brought extra oil, while the foolish ones became careless during the delay.

Delay is a test of preparedness. There are things we cannot borrow from others: our prayer life, our relationship with God, and our spiritual fire. May we continue to seek His presence daily and keep our lamps burning for the Lord. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Last Sunday, we were reminded that every believer goes through a process: ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐, ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐, ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก๐ž๐. (James 1:2-3,12;Romans 8:18)

๐‘ป๐’“๐’Š๐’‚๐’๐’” ๐’‚๐’“๐’† ๐’๐’๐’• ๐’Ž๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’• ๐’•๐’ ๐’ƒ๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’Œ ๐’–๐’”โ€”๐’•๐’‰๐’†๐’š ๐’•๐’†๐’”๐’• ๐’๐’–๐’“ ๐’‡๐’‚๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’…๐’“๐’‚๐’˜ ๐’–๐’” ๐’„๐’๐’๐’”๐’†๐’“ ๐’•๐’ ๐‘ฎ๐’๐’…. Just like Jesus in the Garden, we learn that testing is not about suffering, but surrender under pressure. In every struggle, God is refining us, removing what doesnโ€™t belong, and strengthening our faith.

๐‘ท๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’†๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’† ๐’Š๐’” ๐’„๐’‰๐’๐’๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’•๐’ ๐’“๐’†๐’Ž๐’‚๐’Š๐’ ๐’‡๐’‚๐’Š๐’•๐’‰๐’‡๐’–๐’ ๐’†๐’—๐’†๐’ ๐’Š๐’ ๐’…๐’†๐’๐’‚๐’š, ๐’‘๐’“๐’†๐’”๐’”๐’–๐’“๐’†, ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’†๐’๐’„๐’†. Itโ€™s staying obedient when nothing seems to change, trusting that God is still at work behind the scenes.

And in the end, there is triumph. ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐’‘๐’‚๐’Š๐’ ๐’˜๐’† ๐’‡๐’‚๐’„๐’† ๐’๐’๐’˜ ๐’„๐’‚๐’๐’๐’๐’• ๐’„๐’๐’Ž๐’‘๐’‚๐’“๐’† ๐’•๐’ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’ˆ๐’๐’๐’“๐’š ๐’•๐’‰๐’‚๐’• ๐’‚๐’˜๐’‚๐’Š๐’•๐’”. Godโ€™s promise standsโ€”there is a reward for those who endure.

Last Sunday's word reminded us to ๐’‡๐’†๐’‚๐’“ ๐‘ฎ๐’๐’…, ๐’๐’๐’• ๐’‘๐’†๐’๐’‘๐’๐’†. Proverbs 29:25 says that worrying too much about peopleโ€™s opinions is dangerous, but trusting the Lord brings safety.

People-pleasing can lead us away from God, just like Peter when he denied Jesus three times out of fear. But ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ž๐ง๐โ€”๐†๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ก๐ข๐ฆ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ก๐ž ๐›๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ž๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐, โ€œ๐–๐ž ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐›๐ž๐ฒ ๐†๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐›๐ž๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ!โ€
