CHRISTMAS PROGRAM SUNDAY SERVICE | THE INCARNATION! What is it to you?
JOHN 1:1-14;18

Old Testament prophecies about the birth of the Messiah.

I. ACT OF HUMILITY
This verse stresses the uniqueness and exclusiveness of the Son of God who Himself is God as the only way to the Father.
"He came in the flesh"
Paul describes this as humility in Philippians 2:1-7. Self emptying. This is the only emptying that is not "taking away from" but "adding something into it".

II. ACT OF LOVE
Jesus knew the reason of His coming. In John 10:10 he says, "I came that you might have life."
By His name alone, Savior. In order to do that, the Son of God has to come in the flesh for it requires the shedding of blood. He has to be born in this world, through the virgin, Mary.

III. ACT OF SERVICE
He came to set a pattern of service.
Mark broadly discussed how Jesus spent His time in serving the Father and His disciples.

SUNDAY SERVICE | THE WORD OF GOD
MATTHEW 24:35

In the past, there was an attempt to eliminate the Word of God.
Many attempts had been made to suppress and even to make extinct the Word of God but they all failed.

THE WORD OF GOD

I. OUTLASTS THE UNIVERSE.
Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my Word will never pass away.

Illustration:
• The 400 years Intertestament period commonly known as "silent years".
• In AD 303, the Roman emperor Diocletian issued an edict to destroy all Christians and their Bibles, yet the Word of God still exists.
• Again in 1776, Voltaire a French Philosopher predicted, "100 years from my death, there will be no more Bible on earth, it will become a Museum of piece". Ironically, his house was bought by a Christian group and became a printing press and storehouse for Bibles. God's Word still exists today.
"God's Word will never pass away."

II. MORE POWERFUL THAN MEN.
Its message can not be altered, revised and erased.

Illustration:
Einstein the Father of Mathematics once said, "the Word of God is nothing more than just an expression and product of human weaknesses. A collection of honorable but still a primitive legend which are nevertheless pretty childish."

Isa. 55:8,9 – My ways is higher than your ways.
1 Cor. 1:27 – God chose the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.
Heb. 4:12 – The Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

III. FAITHFUL TO ITS CONTENTS.
The preceding verses talk about the events that are about to take place until the consummation of time.
Men have different views on every event that is taking place:
War, rumors of wars, famine, earthquakes, apostate.
Many will abandon their faith because of persecution.

2 Tim. 3:1-5 – Wickedness will increase.
Children become disobedient to their parents.
Everything that is happening now, including the events that are about to take place, are fulfillment of what is written in God's Word.

CONCLUSION:
THEREFORE, LET US EMBRACE THE WORD OF GOD, LIVE IN ITS TEACHINGS AND BE GUIDED BY ITS INSTRUCTIONS. 🙏

SUNDAY SERVICE | THE FUTILITY OF MAN'S EFFORT APART FROM GOD!
PSALM 127:1-2

Nisi Dominus Frusta - a Latin phrase which means "Without the LORD, Frustration".

It is the motto of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, appearing on its crest, and is affixed to the city's official documents. It serves as a reminder to people who are trying to live their lives without the Almighty God.
Psalm 127, teaches the imperative of having GOD in our lives.
Otherwise,

I. ALL OUR PLANS WILL FAIL. v.1
"They labor in vain".
Whether the house here is a literal house, temple(house of God) or a family, the message is clear, it will not stand.
The earth is the Lord's and He is sovereign. He has full control of everything, including earthquakes, super typhoon, and other natural calamities that could wreck every establishment.

Matt. 7:24
Every believer is a builder; the house he is building is the salvation of his soul. He has to dig deep into God's Word ‘til he reaches the Rock, the solid foundation.

II. ALL SECURITY MEASURES ARE IN VAIN. V.1
"The guards stand in vain".
*The Israelites built houses with panneled doors made of bricks and strong materials, yet were destroyed by the Babylonians.
*Jericho is known for its great wall, yet it collapsed when the Israelites marched around it.
Nothing can give us absolute security except the Lord.

Romans 8:31
If God is for us. Who can be against us? He is the Rock of our salvation. In Him, there is protection, security, peace of mind, and salvation.

III. ALL HUMAN EFFORTS ARE POINTLESS V.2
"You rise up early and sleep late."
Our goal in this life is to succeed in all areas of life.
We work hard to attain our goal but surprisingly, we fail. We work more than eight hours a day, yet we still fall short of our goal. What's the problem?
Others thought they have attained their goals, yet were chasing by anomalies and accusations.

Real success comes from God.
Joshua 1:8, "you will become successful and prosperous"
Matt. 6:33, "all these things will be given to you as well"
Phils. 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your needs"
The LORD will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steafast, because they TRUST Him.

SUNDAY SERVICE | S.O.S.
Acts 16:7-12

This is Paul's second missionary journey. This time, he had Silas with him. While in Troas, Paul had a vision of a man begging for help, saying, "come over to Macedonia.”

S.O.S. - An international code signal of extreme distress, used especially by ships at sea. An urgent appeal for help.

I. HAVE A CLEAR VISION
He saw in a vision a man calling for help. "Come over to Macedonia and HELP US.”
The man is at risk and begging for help. It all started with a clear vision. We need to see the situation of the people calling for help. They were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.

Lord, open my eyes that I may see the people around me who are in dire need of salvation.

II. TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION
The verb used in the context means "at once", "right away", "immediately"
The man in the vision was begging. He is in danger. Immediate action is needed. Do not delay!
Let us see the situation why we need to double our time:
*The harvest is ripe and ready for harvest.
*Time is getting worst.
*Jesus is coming soon.
*The spread of lies was rapidly increasing. There was deception by the fortune teller. Blind leading the blind. The competition is tight.

Lord, move my heart to respond to the call of evangelism.

III. ENSURE GENUINE CONVERSION
Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Verse 31 says, “Believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU WILL BE SAVED INCLUDING YOUR FAMILY.”
Led him to the Savior.
He is the only Savior.
This jailor received Jesus in his heart and even invited the apostles to his house which led to the salvation of the entire family.

Lord, help me to lead people to you. Here I am, send me.

SUNDAY SERVICE | THINGS THAT HOLD US BACK!
Numbers 14: 1-12

Contextually, this is Mission. God told Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt to a place flowing with milk and honey. Strategies have been made. One of these is to explore the land. They chose 12 spies, one from each tribe. After the exploration, their report is found in chapter 13. After hearing the report, the people became hesitant and pessimistic. Why?

Take note: Their mission and our mission are the same in principles. Don't be pessimistic.

I. They are used to conventional status.
Conventional means conforming or adhering to accepted standards.
Their mission is to conquer the place and occupy the land, but after hearing the report of the spies, they changed their mind.
They always look back to Egypt.
- slavery
- idolatry
What is our mission?
Matthew 28:19-20

II. They don't want to engage in war.
At Rephidim, they were forced to fight the Amalekites because it was an ambush.
God assures them of His presence. He also instructed them a good strategy.
What they need to do is rise up and wage war against the enemy. Always remember His promise, the battle is of the Lord.
Thank God for Joshua and Caleb. Caleb silenced the crowd and said, “Let's go and conquer the land we can certainly do it.”
What are the things that we need to burn so we can move forward?

III. They lack Faith.
As early as Genesis 12, GOD already mention to Abraham about bringing His people to a land as their homeland. This covenant was re-established to Isaac then to Jacob. In Exodus 3, God called Moses to bring His people out of Egypt to the Promised Land. Joshua and Caleb reiterated this Promise.
God said, “I will be with you. I will fight for you. No enemy will be able to stand against you.”
Yet, they were hesitant. Afraid. Shrugged off God's promise to protect them.

SUNDAY SERVICE | THE PURPOSE OF INSPIRATION
2 Timothy 3:16-17

The word inspiration in this context means, "God breathed". God breathed out sacred writings to holy men of God who penned the scriptures. This makes the Bible distinct from other books because it has its origin from God and not from Man's ideas.

Let us therefore value and obey everything written in it. Here are the reasons:

I. To teach
Many great men tried to answer the question about the real purpose of human existence but failed. Why? Because they tried to solve the question using their own ideas rather than looking to God's Word for His answer.
Shema " hear" or "listen"
In Eph. 4, Teacher is one of the gifts given to the church to equip God's people for service.

II. To reprove
It is from the greek word "elegcho" which means to convict and refute. When we study the Word with a right attitude, we will be reproved and convicted.
There should be admission of guilt. Feeling of remorse.
David and Bathseba plus Uriah.
2 Samuel 12:13
David confessed, " I have sinned against the Lord".
Psalm 51 David's prayer.

III. To correct
Plead guilty first before correction.
Correction is "epanorthosis" in greek which means "restoration to a right state".
Matt.7:13-14

IV. To instruct

A. Righteousness
A righteous person is someone who is distinguished by his right behavior or right conduct.
Righteous is an adjective. However, when you add "ness" into it, it becomes a noun.
It is now defined as the condition of right standing with God. Through the instruction of God's Word, we will be able to live in righteousness consistently.
Romans 4:3
Paul explains, "Righteousness was imputed to Abraham because he believed God".

B. Righteous living
The righteous shall live by faith in God and in His Word.
Romans 1:17

SUNDAY SERVICE | A LIFE OFFERED TO GOD
ROMANS 12:11

INTRODUCTION
Paul urges all believers to offer their bodies holy, pleasing, and acceptable to God. We are one body with many parts, gifted with various gifts to serve God, the church, and to evangelize the lost. In performing our ministries, he exhorts about:

I. NOT LAGGING IN DILIGENCE.
Comparative slowness or delay (as in movement, operation or development)
Fall behind in movement; not keeping pace with others.
Court saying
Justice delayed, justice denied
Prov. 26:13-16
The slothful man said, "there is a lion on the way; a lion is in the streets."
Eccl. 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might.

II. BE FERVENT IN SPIRIT
Displaying passionate intensity.
By cultivating a deeper relationship with God. It fuels the believers to intensify their service to the Lord.
Let us boost our spirit.
Joshua and Caleb
Amidst opposition, they said, let us go and occupy the Land.
The Lord gave it to us.
The Land is flowing with milk and honey
The enemies are not invincible.
1 Peter 4:8
Above all things have fervent charity among yourselves.

III. SERVE GOD CONTINUALLY
Superficiality means lack of thoroughness, depth of character, or serious thought.
Sometimes, believers tend to relax, become passive, and eventually find themselves out of business.
The church in Rome suffers so much opposition and persecutions.
Paul says, "not that I have already attained or complete but I press on toward the goal to win the prize."
Let's look at the gifts given to the church.
Prophesying
Serving
Teaching
Encouraging
Giving
Leading
Showing mercy
1 Cor.7:22
He who is called to serve is the Lord's.

THROWBACK | FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION 2025 💪

It is a special time to pause and truly appreciate the incredible role that fathers play, not just as providers or protectors, but as spiritual leaders and examples of God’s love here on earth. It’s a day to give thanks for our own dads, whether they’re with us or gone, and to recognize all the men who step into that fatherly role with courage and heart.

Being a father is one of the most important, yet challenging callings a man can have. It’s about more than just guiding your children, it’s about nurturing their spirits, showing patience when things get tough, and leading by example with love and faith. Like Jesus taught us through His relationship with His Heavenly Father, good fatherhood is deeply rooted in trust, kindness, and humility.

On this day, many men of God pause to pray for strength to keep going, wisdom to make the right choices, and grace to forgive and be patient. It’s a moment to remind themselves that fatherhood is a sacred responsibility and a beautiful gift, one that calls them to lean on God for support.

The Virtues of a Noble Woman

"𝓐𝓷 𝓮𝔁𝓬𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝔀𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓭? 𝓢𝓱𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓪𝓻 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓸𝓾𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷 𝓳𝓮𝔀𝓮𝓵𝓼." 💎🎀

It is a description of a truly valuable woman, emphasizing that such a wife is marked by her virtue, strength, wisdom, and godliness which is rare and precious beyond worldly riches.

A woman of noble character is not just someone ordinary or easy to come by, she embodies qualities that deeply enrich the life of those around her, especially her family. Her worth isn’t measured by material wealth but by her integrity, work ethic, kindness, and fear of God. Such a woman inspires trust in her husband, benefits her family through her diligence and wisdom, and serves her community with generosity.

Hence, it invites us to see value in inner qualities: strength, dignity, wisdom, and kindness rather than superficial appearances or possessions. It also suggests that a person with these qualities is a rare treasure, much like a precious gem that is difficult to find but invaluable once found.

SUNDAY SERVICE | MOST COMMON ALIBI
EXODUS 3:9-13

God has seen the misery of His people in Egypt. He wants to rescue them from Pharaoh's hands. At this juncture, God called Moses to bring His people out of Egypt. Let us take a look of his reaction:

I. WHO AM I?
Moses was tasked to negotiate with Pharaoh.
Low self esteem.
Pharaoh won't listen to me. He is a great and powerful king and I am just an ordinary shepherd.
God told Moses, "I will be with you."
The God of heaven and earth, creator of all things assures him of His presence. He is Elohim. All powerful God.
"Paul says, If God is for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31

II. WHAT ABILITIES DO I HAVE?
These people won't listen to me.
I'm not a good speaker and have not the ability either. But God said, "What is that in your hand?"
God doesn't ask something that we don't have.
If staff is the only thing you have today, He can still use you mightily through that staff.
What do you have today? Offer it to God and you'll be blessed too.

III. WHAT IF I FAIL?
Everybody fails, we are not perfect.
But even if we fail, God assures us that He will not leave us nor forsake us.
At the end of the day, you will emerge as victorious because God will carry out His plan no matter what.
Rom. 8:37 - "We are more than conquerors."

Sometimes, we stumble but not fall. But one thing is sure, God has made us overcomers, victorious, and champions.
