The National Chaplains of the Philippines (NCP) focuses on promoting good governance and strengthening Filipino core values through various programs and partnerships. Their members are deployed as chaplains and values educators in both public and private sectors.

Initiatives:
1.- Values Formation Programs: These are central to their mission, aiming to improve the physical, moral, mental, social, and spiritual conditions of the Filipino people.
2. - Deployment of Chaplains and Values Educators: NCP members serve in various sectors to instill and reinforce Filipino core values.
3. - Spiritual and Moral Upliftment: They promote a spirit of love for the country through activities that uplift spiritual and moral well-being.
4.- Workshops and Training Programs: To fortify good governance, they conduct workshops and training programs that enshrine Filipino core values as a tool for positive change.
5. Barangay Chaplains Program: This initiative aims to reach grassroots levels by deploying chaplains to coordinate and work with barangay officers, assisting the government in its extension of compassion, care, and concern.
Significant Partnerships:
The NCP actively partners with government agencies to co-implement programs, highlighting their commitment to supporting national goals:
1. - Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG):
2. - Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG): NCP partners with DILG to co-implement the SGLG program, which recognizes and incentivizes good performance among local government units.
3.- Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Assessment: They also collaborate with DILG on the assessment of Anti-Drug Abuse Councils, contributing to the government's efforts against illegal drugs.
4.- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD):
- 4Ps Gabay Program: NCP partners with DSWD for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Gabay program, which likely involves providing guidance and support to beneficiaries, aligning with their values-based approach.
These programs and partnerships collectively aim to bridge the gap between the government and its people, fostering national unity and community participation by strengthening Filipino core values.
