San Sebastian Basilica is the only steel church in Asia and global conservation efforts are being made to restore its splendid beauty. But sadly, some businessess are planning to erect a huge condominium just behind it (only 50 meters away) which will overshadow the Basilica Minore San Sebastian.
Past politicians have already messed up with Rizal Monument for allowing the Tore de Manila to be built and became the national photobomber. If we will not unite, it's easy for them once again, to trample priceless historical buildings with a living legacy that can never be replaced.
