St. Padre Pio Parish - Cabatangan Pray, Hope and Don't Worry “Pray, wait, and do not worry. Worrying is useless. God is merciful and will listen to your prayer.

Prayer is the best weapon we have; it is the key to the heart of God. You should speak to Jesus, not only with your lips but with your heart. In reality, in some occasions you should speak to Him with the heart.” –Padre Pio

Today, we honor Saint Isidore the Laborer, the humble patron saint of farmers and laborers, whose life became a beautiful witness of faith, simplicity, and perseverance. Though he lived an ordinary life working in the fields, he showed that no work is ever small when it is offered to God with sincerity and love.

Saint Isidore reminds us that holiness is not only found in great achievements, but also in the quiet dedication we give to our daily responsibilities. Through hard work, prayer, and trust in God’s providence, he became an example of humility and unwavering faith to many generations.

May his life inspire us to remain diligent in our tasks, compassionate toward others, and grateful for every blessing we receive. May we learn to serve with joyful hearts, nurture the gifts entrusted to us, and continue to place our faith in God through every season of life. 🙏🌾

The Saint Padre Pio Ministry joined the Prayer Vigil for World Peace on April 11, 2026, in response to the universal call of the Church during this blessed Easter season a time of renewed hope, faith, and unity.

In communion with the Holy Father’s desire for peace, the ministry faithfully participated in this sacred initiative by holding a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration, offering prayers for harmony among nations, healing for the suffering, and unity among all people. This was then followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass, where the faithful gathered as one community in prayer and thanksgiving.

Through this meaningful act of devotion, we unite ourselves with the whole Church in praying for lasting peace in the world. May the Risen Christ continue to guide us to become instruments of His peace, love, and mercy.

“Lord, make us channels of Your peace.”

He is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Today as we rejoice in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, from the silence in the tomb He rose again bringing light after darkness and life after death.

As we witness the joyful and meaningful encounter between His Mother and Jesus Christ, an angel sings Regina Caeli Laetare, proclaiming the gladness of His Resurrection.

IN PHOTOS| BLACK SATURDAY

Black Saturday is a day of silence, waiting, and reflection. It is a moment between sorrow and hope, as we remember that Jesus lies in the tomb.
In this stillness, we are invited to pause, to pray, and to trust in God’s promise even in times when everything feels uncertain.
