"SERVING GOD BUT FIGHTING LUST IN
SILENCE. HIPOKRITO BA AKO?"
"Bakit ganito? Nagseserve naman ako, pero bakit ang dumi ng isip ko?"
"Pwede pa ba akong tumayo sa harap kung ganito ako sa likod?"
Recently, may mga taong nag-open sa akin
regarding this matter and they said:
"Nahihirapan akong labanan ang lust, everytime nagiguilty ako.
"Nagseserve ako sa Lord, pero pakiramdam ko ang dumi ko."
"Hipokrito po ba ako?"
Actually, hindi lang isa, pero marami marami na akong na encounter na may ganitong silent struggle, even ako mismo napagdaanan ko siya.
lkaw ba? Have you ever thought that, yung
active ka sa Church, may ministry, may
responsibility, may calling-pero may laban
kang hindi mo masabi kahit kanino?
Sa harap, you look okay.
Committed.
Disciplined.
On fire.
Pero sa loob, may struggle na paulit-ulit mong sinusubukang talunin.
And sometimes, it makes you question
yourself:
"Hipokrito ba ako?"
"Dapat ba akong tumigil muna?"
"May karapatan pa ba akong
magsilbi?"
Okay, let's pause there, kapatid.
Because more Christians relate to this than we're willing to admit. Especially those who serve.
Lust is one of the quietest battles in the Church, tama ba? TAMA
Hindi siya laging halata eh. Hindi siya laging napapansin. Pero tahimik siyang kumakain sa konsensya ng maraming Believers.
And the hardest part? You're fighting it while trying to stay faithful.
So i-clarify lang natin
Hindi ka hipokrito-hipokrita dahil may ganitong struggle ka.
Hipokrito-hipoktita ka lang kapag
pinipili mong manatili sa kasalanan habang
nagpapanggap na parang wala lang.
There is a difference between struggling and settling.
STRUGGLING means you hate the sin and
you're fighting it.
SETTLING means tinanggap mo na lang at
tumigil ka nang lumaban.
And if you feel guilty, convicted, and
uncomfortable with it-that is not hypocrisy.
That's the Holy Spirit working in you.
Temptation does not mean na disqualified
kana. It means you are human. Kahit si David had desires.
Even Paul spoke about battles within. Even servants of God are not immune to weakness.
Pero hindi ibig sabihin nito na disqualified ka na agad.
The real question is this:
What do you do when you fall?
Do you hide and justify it?
Or do you humble yourself, repent, and ask God to change you?
Sabi sa 1 Corinthians 10:12:
"So, if you think you are standing firm, be
careful that you don't fall."
Hindi tayo naglilingkod kay Lord dahil malinis na tayo.
We serve because we need His grace every single day.
Pero, Reminder lang:
Grace is not permission to stay in sin.
Grace is the power to walk away from it.
So if you're serving and you're struggling with lust, don't quit in serving, pero huwag mo ring balewalain ang lust.
Set boundaries. Guard your eyes, your
mind, and your heart.
Choose accountability.
Santiago 4:7
7 Kaya nga, pasakop kayo sa Diyos. Labanan ninyo ang diyablo at lalayuan niya kayo.
Run toward God, not away from Him.
Allow God to do the deeper work of changing your heart.
Hindi ka tinawag ng Diyos dahil perpekto ka. Tinawag ka Niya dahil handa kang baguhin. And maybe this is the reminder we all need today:
GOD IS FAR MORE CONCERNED WITH WHO YOU ARE BECOMING THAN WITH HOW FLAWLESS YOU APPEAR.
Growth doesn't mean you never fall. Ibig
sabihin nito, hindi ka tumigil lumaban-kasama ang Panginoon.
Keep fighting, keep surrendering, keep
walking in the light.... Ipanalo natin Ang laban kasama si Lord.
