Official Advisory and Warning Against Unauthorized Investment and Pyramiding Schemes
TO ALL CAMACOP DMSES, PASTORS, WORKERS, AND MEMBERS,
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This is to formally inform and warn all pastors, workers, and members of The Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches of the Philippines regarding reports and advisories issued by the SEC-Butuan concerning three (3) investment scam operations allegedly engaged in illegal investment solicitation and pyramiding activities.
In reference to our board action BT-03-79 Pyramiding Schemes/Multilevel Marketing, everyone is strongly advised to exercise caution and refrain from joining, promoting, endorsing, or investing in any unauthorized investment or networking schemes that promise unrealistic returns or easy income.
Let us remain vigilant and protect our churches and members from financial harm and possible legal consequences. We encourage everyone to verify first with the proper government agencies before participating in any investment opportunity.
Please be reminded that any pastor, worker, or member found promoting, endorsing, or actively participating in such illegal investment or pyramiding schemes shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with CAMACOP policies and regulations.
