𝐈𝐍 𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐎 | The Movement of the Paschal Candle

The Easter season officially came to a conclusion last May 24, Pentecost Sunday. The traditional movement of the Paschal Candle took place right after the 6:00 PM Holy Mass, which was the final Mass of the Easter season, presided over by our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Edwin Peter R. Dionisio, OFM.

For the past 50 days, the Paschal Candle stood near the ambo as a symbol of the Risen Christ. Now that Easter has ended, it has been moved to its place near the baptismal font or in the baptistery, where it will be used for future baptisms and funerals.

To our SocComm volunteers behind the scenes, thank you for your time, effort, and kind hearts! Your service helps the Church reach people wherever they are.

With the theme “Preserving Human Voices and Faces,” we are reminded that communication is not only about sharing information, but about honoring the dignity of every person. May we use every platform with truth, kindness, and responsibility, so that in all we create and share, Christ’s love may be seen and heard.

More than a run, it was a gathering of one community united in faith, joy, and service. With grateful hearts, we thank our generous sponsors, and all participants for making this event possible.

Join us this coming Friday, May 1, for Run for a Cause 2026 in celebration of the Fiesta of Sto. Cristo de Masambong!

This is a fundraising activity organized by the Social Communications Ministry of Most Holy Redeemer Parish – Masambong. 50% of the proceeds will go to the SocComm ministry fund for the maintenance of our equipment used for our parish coverage, and 50% will support the repairs and renovation of our parish church.
