These words have guided the episcopal ministry of Most Rev. Roberto O. Gaa, D.D. for the past seven years.

On August 22, 2019, at the Manila Cathedral, then Bishop-elect Roberto O. Gaa was ordained to the episcopacy as the Bishop of Novaliches. He was ordained by Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, then Archbishop of Manila, as principal consecrator, with Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas and Bishop Mylo Hubert C. Vergara as co-consecrators.

Today, we give thanks for seven years of faithful shepherding, pastoral service, and a steadfast commitment to leading the faithful of the Diocese of Novaliches toward the fullness of life in Christ.

May Bishop Gaaโ€™s episcopal motto continue to inspire his ministry: that everything may lead to the salvation of souls.

As we celebrate Altar Servers Month, we give thanks to God for the gift of every altar server who faithfully serves at the Lord's altar with reverence, humility, and dedication.

Your ministry is more than a duty it is a sacred calling to assist in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and to be a living example of faith, discipline, and service. May this month inspire each of us to deepen our love for Christ, grow in holiness, and continue serving with joyful hearts.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to our priests, formators, coordinators, parents, and everyone who supports and guides our altar servers in their journey of faith.

Sa diwa ng paglilingkod at pagkakaisa, matagumpay na isinagawa ng Ministry of the Altar Servers ang kanilang General Assembly ngayong araw.

Bukod sa muling pagpapatibay ng kanilang bokasyon bilang mga lingkod ng dambana, naging mahalagang bahagi rin ng pagtitipon ang pormal na pagpapakilala ng Ministry of the Altar Servers sa ating bagong Kura Paroko, Rev. Fr. John Harvey David Bagos. Isang pagkakataon ito upang ipahayag ang kahandaan ng ministeryo na makiisa sa kanyang pastoral na pamumuno at ipagpatuloy ang tapat na paglilingkod sa ating parokya.

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagtitipong ito upang lalo pang lumalim ang pananampalataya, disiplina, at pagmamahal ng bawat Altar Server sa paglilingkod sa banal na dambana, bilang mga kabataang tumutugon sa tawag ng Panginoon.

"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field... though it is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when full-grown it is the largest of plants."
โ€” Matthew 13:31โ€“32

Every gift offered with faith, no matter how small, becomes a seed that helps God's Kingdom grow. Through Balik Handog, we respond with grateful hearts to the Lord's countless blessings and take part in the mission of our parish through worship, formation, and service.

As we gather for the Eucharist this Sunday, let us prayerfully offer back to God a portion of what He has entrusted to us. May our generosity become a blessing for our parish community and for all those we serve.
