⚖️ “Justice without compassion becomes harsh, but COMPASSION without ACCOUNTABILITY loses TRUTH.”
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God."
- Micah 6:8
Christian justice is not only about knowing what is right, but also about choosing to live it every day. It calls us to speak the TRUTH WITH LOVE, respect the dignity of every person, and take RESPONSIBILITY for our actions even when it is difficult. ACCOUNTABILITY is a sign of maturity in faith because it teaches us humility, honesty, and the courage to grow from our mistakes. In a world where blame is often easier than change, Christ invites us to become people of integrity and compassion. Carmelite spirituality beautifully teaches that justice begins in prayer and in a heart deeply united with God. Through silence, reflection, and service, the Carmelites remind us that a faithful soul cannot ignore the suffering, needs, and rights of others. Like Mary who listened and obeyed, and Elijah who stood firmly for God’s truth, we are called to live with courage, mercy, and responsibility, becoming instruments of God’s justice in the world. 🤎✨
