Victory Cubao Welcome to Victory Cubao! 👋

07/10/2026

Sometimes, we get blinded by sin and forget that God’s Word and His Spirit has the power to open our eyes, that we may move in wisdom and faith.

Last Sunday, Pastor Mike continued our series, “Everyone, Everywhere.”

Last Saturday, Victory Cubao had the opportunity to conduct an EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE Seminar at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School. We were blessed to see over 100 student leaders actively participate and engage in the event.

Our main speaker, Campus Missionary Dean Castillo, was also deeply moved by God’s grace and the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit throughout the gathering.

“As we talked about understanding our emotions, I was reminded that God cares deeply about the hearts and lives of these young people. While sharing the message, I sensed God moving in their hearts and drawing them closer to Him.

At the end of the message, we gave the students an opportunity to surrender their lives to Jesus. It was a powerful and humbling moment as many students responded and made that decision.

Truly, God is personal. He knows the hearts of every student, and we are grateful for the privilege of witnessing His work in the next generation.” — Dean Castillo

We continue to pray for more campuses to open their doors, allowing us to reach more students with the Good News of our Lord.

We were once held captive by sin, but because of Jesus, we were saved and received the greatest pardon.

On the second week of our series “Everyone, Everywhere,” Pastor Jam extends Jesus’ command: “Tell all that God has done for you.” So let's proclaim the liberty we have obtained after being captives of sin. Our testimonies are powerful proof that God is with us.

Last year, we started a simple act of kindness that prospered by God's grace. More than a hundred students, workers, and families received a “Bag of Love” along with God's greatest news—Jesus.

Now, we have been given another opportunity to continue this gracious act of reaching out and helping more people around Cubao. We are thankful to Froilan Lara, Barangay Secretary of Brgy. Socorro, Cubao, and a follower of Christ, as he excitedly renewed our partnership. With his coordination and cooperation, we can look forward to and participate in these events this December:

- Bag of love

- Medical Missions

- More outreach and ministry in the community

Truly, “We love each other because God loved us first.” – 1 John 4:19

We were once poor in spirit, but God’s great love sent Jesus to save us and give us eternal life! 🙏

Kicking off our new series, Pastor Jam reminded us of our calling as Christians: “Proclaim the Good News to the poor.” Let’s be vessels of His grace and share the gospel with Everyone, Everywhere.

Have you given it your all but felt like it’s still not enough?

The problem is not the work itself. The problem is that we are trying to do good work in a broken world. - Timothy Keller But God, our Redeemer, assures us that our hope will never be lost again.

As Pastor Mike ends the series “The Theology of Work,” we learn that when we serve the Lord and place our trust in our future hope, we will have the grace to endure the effects of sin in this world while doing excellent work as worship. So let us continue following our Master, fulfilling our Mandate to demonstrate the gospel, participating in His Mission, and sharing His Message by being a witness in our workplace.

When we align our purposes with God’s, He can turn prayers into testimonies. Here’s a story from Dan, one of our student leaders in the Technological Institute of the Philippines.

“Even before I attended TIP, I was already praying, ‘Lord, use me in TIP. Let me share the gospel with whoever You point me to.’ For a while, I was hoping to have a chance to hang out with my friends together with our campus missionary, Kuya Dean.

Then, a divine opportunity came last school year before the semester ended. Binigyan ako ni Lord ng sign na sa mga kaibigan ko ako unang mag-reach out. Nung nag-meet kami ni Kuya Dean, nakasabay namin bigla yung mga kaibigan ko. I was able to introduce Kuya Dean and we had lunch together. And with God’s grace, they shared that they wanted to hang out more and join us in our mission.

That powerful move didn’t stop there. This year, I invited them again to join us. G na g naman silang mag-join agad. Even until now, I still can’t believe that the Lord opened a door for us to reach out to my friends. It’s truly an answered prayer not only for me but also for Kuya Dean. This firsthand experience of God’s power boosted my faith and reminded me of how God can use us, student leaders, on campus.

No matter how big a campus may be, nothing’s bigger than our God who always moves in our lives. This is the start of God’s plan for TIP, and it’s happening, one student at a time.”

Let us continue praying for our campuses, knowing that while God is already softening students' hearts, many are simply waiting to be reached. Let's keep spreading God’s love across every campus.

When you realize that all provisions, blessings, and grace come from God, you finally understand that He is your real boss—your true Master. When this happens, working faithfully levels up into working diligently and excellently.

Pastor JC Iñigo, senior pastor of Victory Mandaluyong, preached a powerful word that deepened our understanding of “The Theology of Work.” We can rest assured that our hard work has true purpose, because it is a beautiful byproduct of what Jesus has already done for us.
