Practices are every Friday and Saturday, 7:00 - 9:30pm. Sunday Service is every 3 and 4pm mass. SPPS Cantors is a church-based self-supporting organization composed of young professionals who share the same passion. The choir was established in June 2007 by Mr. Teodorico Martinez commonly known as Bro. Jojo, music instructor and a member of Diocesan choir of Diocese of Novaliches. The choir has be
en part of St. Peter Parish: Shrine of Leaders for a decade, starting from one to three soloist until it paved way into a larger group. When Bro. Jojo resigned as the musical director of the parish, the choir stand on its own and was then handled by Mr. Gregory Elli Lustre, a pianist and violinist. After Mr. Gregory Elli, Cantors also handled by Mr. Rogello Abuela Saurin, Jr., member of Pansol choir under Mr. Mark Anthony Carpio (Choirmaster of the Philippine Madrigal Singers). At present, the SPPS-Cantors is under the musical guidance of Mr. Christopher Jagolino, Choir master of Kabataang Handog Choir an also a member of Coro de Sta. Cecilia under Mr. Chris Borela (Philippine Madrigal Singer). The group aim is to spread the love of God and inspire people through choral singing. Though its main objective is to lead the congregation in praising the Lord during the Holy Mass, this however does not mean that the group’s repertoire is only limited to religious songs. Cantors, also sings in various formal and informal gatherings inside the parish. Furthermore, the group already conducted a short seminar with the choral conductor of Philippine Madrigal Singers Mr. Mark Anthony Carpio. The choir also performed in Henry Lee Irwin Theatre in Ateneo de Manila University.
