Last night, the HJMP Parish Pastoral Council Education Committee organized a meaningful talk on Spiritual Warfare in the Family: Deliver Us from Evil with Fr. Jojo Zerrudo, exorcism priest of the Diocese of Cubao. His talk reminded us of the importance of protecting and caring for our families spiritually, as well as being aware of occult practices that we must avoid. We were reminded that in our fight against evil, we must begin with ourselves, be mindful of the influences of the world, and ultimately resist the devil, strengthening our families through faith, prayer, and God’s grace.

Thank you, Fr. Jojo, for sharing your wisdom and guidance with our community. We also sincerely thank Drs. Enrico & Belen Tangco for sponsoring the food, and all our parishioners and guests who joined us. May we continue to keep our families safe, faithful, and rooted in Christ.

Matthew 19:21 "Jesus said to him, 'If you wish to be perfect go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Jesus' command inspires intentional philanthropy, poverty alleviation, and systematic support for the needy. This passage serves as a personal check against letting career, comfort, or possessions replace ethical and spiritual integrity. This reminds people that following a higher calling requires sacrifice and a detached heart from worldly status.

❤️🙏 “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” — Luke 11:28

The Parish of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary believes that hearing God’s Word is not only about listening, but also about putting His Word into action through love and service.

Today, we reached out to our brothers and sisters on the streets—children and adults—by sharing simple food packs, and providing school supplies for the children. 🎒🍱❤️

These may seem like small gifts, but when given with a sincere heart, they become expressions of God’s love, compassion, and hope. We pray that every food pack may bring comfort, and every school supply may help a child dream, learn, and look forward to a brighter future.

May Luke 11:28 remind us that true blessedness comes when we hear God’s Word and live it through our actions. May we continue to be the hands that serve, the hearts that care, and the light that brings hope to those in need.

❤️🌧️ LOVE THAT SERVES, EVEN IN THE STORM 🙏

Despite the heavy storm, the Parish of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary continued to reach out to our brothers and sisters living on the streets, sharing warm food, compassion, and hope.

The rain may have been strong, but the love of Christ is stronger. ❤️ Through this simple act of charity, we are reminded that serving the poor is not only about giving food—it is about making them feel remembered, valued, and loved.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus teach us to love with a generous heart, and may the Immaculate Heart of Mary inspire us to care for those who are most in need.

"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." — Matthew 25:40

🙏 May our parish continue to be a living expression of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary—bringing love, hope, and mercy wherever they are needed most.
