In continuation of our topic, โ€œThe Four Parts of the Catechism,โ€ we will be diving deeper into our personal faith, discovering how these teachings come to life in our daily lives as Christians.

This session invites us not just to understand our faith, but to truly live itโ€”through our actions, choices, and relationship with God. As we reflect together, weโ€™ll uncover how these truths guide us, shape us, and strengthen our journey as followers of Christ.

After the weight of loss and the silence in the midst of waiting, what felt like the end was, in truth, the beginning of something greater than anyone could ever imagine. โ€œHe has risen! He is not hereโ€ The empty tomb, and these words are trumpets of hope to each one of us, and the promise of new life is fulfilled. He is Life, and will always be.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the moment that awakens us to the truth that the darkness, the silence of waiting and uncertainty are not the end, because every ending can become a new beautiful beginning and a transformation through Godโ€™s power and love. In Godโ€™s heart, the sacrifices that cost Him His life are not wasted, rather it becomes the strong foundation of hope, renewal and life made new.

Holy Saturday begins in a space of grief that lingers among those who believed in and loved Jesus Christ. As His body was laid in the tomb, the weight of loss filled the air, and many questions remained unanswered. It was a moment of deep uncertainty, where faith and trust were truly tested. In the midst of this, there is a quiet hope that is still alive to these people that have been waiting patiently. Because, the disciples and the women did not let their sorrow turn into impatience. Instead, they chose to wait with patience and faith in the midst of uncertainty.

This teaches us a powerful truth that in moments when there is nothing we can do but wait, it is a sign that we are being called to trust.

Holy Saturday reminds us that there are times in life when everything feels paused, when we are caught between pain and healing, when answers are unclear. But it is in these moments that our faith is strengthened and our connection with God deepens, even in the moments of silence.
