𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝑨𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑹

The Pastor who preaches two or three times a week will spend around 30 hours in sermon preparation for the messages. If that same pastor is bi-vocational, add to that his 40-hour work week and 6 (+\-) hours of church services and outside of any phone calls or visits that Pastor is at 76 hours minimum a week.

He is giving everything he has to everyone else and his family is missing out on a lot of things and giving their time up with husband and father.

So tonight pray for your Pastor and his family and remember he has very little time to himself or with them.

I’m praying for every Pastor I know tonight! I love you men and I know exactly what you are going through! Great will be our reward in heaven if we faint not! Keep going and keep preaching Word for the world needs you!

𝑩𝑰𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑷𝑺, 𝑷𝑨𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑹𝑺 & 𝑳𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑬𝑹𝑺: 𝑩𝑬 𝑾𝑨𝑹𝑵𝑬𝑫!‼️

The recent fall of a well-known Christian leader has once again reminded us of a hard and humbling truth: calling does not cancel accountability, and gifting does not guarantee character. When a pastor or leader falls, the damage goes far beyond the individual, it affects families, victims, congregations, and the testimony of the Church.

This is not written to shame, cancel, or condemn, but to warn, to wake us up, and to call leaders back to holy fear.

𝟏. 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

1 Corinthians 10:12

Hindi porke ginagamit ka ng Diyos ay safe ka na sa temptation. The same hands that preach can still fall if the heart is not guarded.

Public ministry cannot replace private holiness.

Spiritual success does not equal moral safety.

Past victories do not protect you from present compromise.

Stay humble or you will stumble.

𝟐. 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐁𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝

Numbers 32:23

Maaaring matagal maitago, pero hindi kailanman mananatiling lihim ang kasalanan.

What is hidden grows stronger.

What is covered multiplies damage.

What is confessed early can be healed.

Delayed confession leads to devastating exposure.

𝟑. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞

1 Timothy 3:4–5

Maraming leaders ang maayos sa pulpito pero wasak sa bahay.

Guard emotional connections.

Set boundaries, especially in counseling.

Don’t flirt with “harmless conversations.”

Most moral failures begin with small, unchecked compromises.

𝟒. 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐬 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭

Proverbs 27:17

Kung walang taong pwedeng mag-correct sa’yo, you are already in danger.

Every pastor needs a pastor.

Every leader needs someone who can say “No.”

Isolation is a warning sign.

The enemy targets lone leaders.

𝟓. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐎𝐮𝐭

Mark 6:31

Pagod na leader = vulnerable leader.

Exhaustion lowers spiritual defenses.

Burnout clouds judgment.

Overwork is not holiness.

You don’t need to prove your value by killing yourself in ministry.

𝟔. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞

Colossians 1:18

The Church is not yours. The people are not yours. The pulpit is not yours.

You are a steward, not an owner.

You are replaceable—Christ is not.

Fear God more than losing influence.

Better to step down humbly than to fall publicly.

𝟕. 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥

2 Timothy 4:7

Ang tunay na tagumpay ng leader ay hindi kung gaano kataas ang naabot, kundi kung gaano kalinis ang pagtatapos.

Start strong, yes.
But more importantly, end faithful.

𝐈𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭:

Pastors and leaders: we are not above this.

If you think, “Hindi mangyayari sa akin,” you are already standing on dangerous ground.

Guard your heart.

Strengthen your accountability.

Choose holiness daily.

Because the cost of falling is too high, not just for you, but for everyone God entrusted to your care.

… 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖!

Your Pastor was not called to stand behind the pulpit just to speak about blessings that make us feel good. He was called by God to teach the truth, even when it is uncomfortable; to rebuke in love, when our ways drift from righteousness; and to correct, not to shame us, but to guide us back to the right path… 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏!

A faithful Pastor does not measure success by applause, approval, or popularity but by obedience to God’s Word. Sometimes the message will confront our pride, challenge our habits, and expose areas that need repentance. And yes, that can hurt… but correction is not rejection; it is proof of care.

If a Pastor only preaches what people want to hear, many will listen…. but when he preaches the truth, 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚! So, instead of getting angry when the Word corrects you, ask God what He is trying to teach you. Growth happens not only in comfort, but in correction.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
— 2 Timothy 3:16

Honor your Pastor. Pray for them… and receive the Word—not just when it blesses you, but also when it changes you!

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑?

It’s easy to talk about Pastors.
It’s easier to criticize them.

But here’s an uncomfortable truth the church rarely pauses to consider:

☝️ Most of a pastor’s work is done where no one sees it.

- You don’t see the names carried into private prayer.
- You don’t see the fasting before hard decisions.
- You don’t see the spiritual battles fought so the church can stand in peace.

“They watch for your souls, as they that must give account.”
Hebrews 13:17

- You hear the sermon, but you don’t hear the tears behind it.
- You feel the order in the church, but you don’t feel the weight that produced it.

Behind the pulpit is a man who must answer to God not for popularity, but for souls.

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock…”
Acts 20:28

Many churches enjoy the fruit without ever seeing the labor.

So before we speak lightly…
before we compare…
before we criticize…

Maybe we should ask ourselves:

When was the last time we thanked God for the unseen work of our pastor?

Our Pastor is a Blessing.
Not because he is perfect, but because he is faithful in places we will never see.

Now, have you ever thank God for your Pastor?

“𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑, 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐀-𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐃𝐎 𝐊𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍!”

Ang isang Pastor na pasan-pasan ang lahat ng responsibilidad— mula sa pangangaral, pangasiwa, pag-aayos, pagbisita, discipleship, events, counseling, worship, finances, errands, at halos lahat ng gawain ng simbahan.

Habang may grupo ng leaders na 𝑵𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑻𝑨𝒀𝑶 𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮 at nagsasabing,

> “Kami nagpapasweldo sa pastor para gawin lahat ‘yan.”

Ang ganitong pananaw ay hindi Biblical. Hindi kailanman nilayon ng Diyos na ang pastor ang gagawa ng LAHAT.

1. The Pastor’s Calling Is Spiritual — Not Servant-of-All-Church-Tasks

Acts 6:4 (KJV)

> But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Ang Bible mismo ang nagsasabi:
ang pangunahing trabaho ng pastor ay ang panalangin at pangangaral — hindi ang pagpasan ng lahat ng gawain.
Kapag ginawang “utility man” ang pastor, nasasayang ang oras para sa tunay na gawain ng Diyos.

2. The Church Must Share the Labor — Hindi Puro “Pastor na Bahala”

Ephesians 4:12 (KJV)
> For the perfecting of the saints… for the work of the ministry…

Hindi sinabi na
“Pastor is for the work of the ministry.”
Ang sabi
“the saints” — ang buong church family.

Ang ministry ay responsibilidad ng LAHAT ng mananampalataya, hindi ng pastor lang.

3. Overburdened Pastors Become Weary — At Mali Ito Sa Harap ng Diyos

Galatians 6:2 (KJV)
> Bear ye one another’s burdens…

Kung totoong church family, dapat:
tinutulungan ang pastor, hindi tinutulak pabigat.
Kung ang pastor ay nagpapasan ng lahat, hindi iyon ministry—
kundi abuso sa taong lingkod ng Diyos.

4. A Pastor Is a Shepherd — Not a Slave

1 Timothy 5:17 (KJV)

> Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour…

Ang pastor ay hindi empleyado ng church.
Siya ay tinawag ng Diyos, at dapat tratuhin nang may honor, respect, support, at tulong — hindi gawin siyang taga-gawa ng lahat.

Ang isang iglesiang inaasahang lakad lahat ng pastor ay naglalakad papalayo sa disenyo ng Diyos.

Ang tunay na malakas na simbahan ay hindi yung may napapagod na pastor,
kundi yung may nagkakaisang katawan na sabay-sabay naglilingkod.

Sapagkat kapag ang pastor ang gumawa ng lahat —
hindi siya ang nagkulang…
kundi ang buong iglesia!

Ang Pastor ang 𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐬 para pag-isahin kayo sa harap Niya.
Kaya kung magbibigay ka kay Pastor -
siguraduhin mong nakita mo ang tunay na halaga niya - sa isa sa pinakamahalagang araw ng buhay mo!

🫀 What does BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP look like?

1. Leadership that serves, not lords.
Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant.” (Matthew 20:26) Hindi pa-bida, hindi pa-power trip. Biblical leaders stoop low, wash feet, and lead by example.

2. Leadership that listens before leading.
Biblical leaders seek wisdom from the Word and from the Spirit, not just trends or opinions. They’re shepherds and not bosses. They lead not just with vision, but with compassion and discernment.

3. Leadership that reflects Christ.
Hindi sapat ang charisma kung walang character. Biblical leaders model humility, purity, and integrity. “Imitate me, as I imitate Christ,” sabi ni Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1).

4. Leadership that builds others, not themselves.
True leaders don’t use people to fulfill their ministry. They equip people to fulfill their calling. They multiply, not just manage.

5. Leadership that is accountable and never above correction.
Biblical leaders remain teachable. They don’t hide behind the “pastor card” or title. They welcome correction, because they know they are still growing.

In the Kingdom, the highest leaders are the lowest servants.

Biblical leadership is not about climbing higher, but going deeper.
Deeper in humility.
Deeper in love.
Deeper in dependence on God.

Don’t just aim to be a leader. Aim to be a shepherd after God’s own heart (Jeremiah 3:15).

Because at the end of the day, we don’t lead for applause, rather, we lead for His glory!
