Daily Devotion

Good morning! As we start this Wednesday, May 27, let’s take a moment to reflect on a powerful reminder of God’s sovereignty.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." — Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)

It’s very human to want to be in control. We plan our days and our futures, and when things don’t go our way, we often feel anxious or confused. We try to fit God’s plans into our own limited logic.

But these verses remind us that God’s perspective is infinitely greater than ours. Just as the sky towers over the earth, His wisdom towers over our understanding. He sees the "why" that we can't see yet. He is working in ways we might not even notice.

Today, let’s challenge ourselves to stop worrying about the things we can’t figure out. Instead, let’s find peace in knowing that God’s "higher ways" are always motivated by His love and His purpose for us. We can trust the Architect even when we don't understand the blueprint.

Lord, thank You that I don't have to carry the weight of figuring everything out. Help me to trust Your wisdom today and follow Your lead, even when the path looks different than I expected. Amen.

Here's your daily devotion post:

**Daily Devotion**

Hey friends! Let’s dive into a verse that really encourages us today. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.”

This isn't about being a theologian or winning arguments. It’s about living a life so full of Christ that it naturally draws questions. When someone sees the hope you carry, they'll want to know why.

So, let’s focus on truly honoring Jesus in our hearts. This inner respect for Him is what fuels our outward witness. When we’re asked about our hope, let’s share it with genuine love and kindness. It’s a beautiful way to reflect His light!

May we always be ready to share the reason for our hope, not with pride, but with humble hearts that point others to Jesus.

Loving Father, help us to honor Christ deeply in our lives today. Give us the courage and the grace to share the hope we have in You, with gentleness and respect. Amen.

"The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe." — Proverbs 29:25 (NKJV)

It is so easy to get caught up in what other people think about us. We often worry about their opinions, their criticism, or whether we are "fitting in" correctly.

The Bible calls this a "snare." It is like a trap that keeps us stuck and anxious. When we live for the approval of people, we are never truly free to be who God called us to be.

But there is a beautiful promise here. When we shift our focus and put our trust in the Lord, we find safety. God's love for us doesn't change based on our performance or someone else's opinion. He is a firm foundation that never shakes.

As we start this new week, let’s choose to step out of the trap of people-pleasing. Let’s find our security in Him instead.

Lord, help us to care more about Your truth than the opinions of the world. Give us the courage to follow You wholeheartedly and keep us safe in Your love. Amen.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me." — John 14:1 (NIV)

It is so easy to feel overwhelmed by the news, our schedules, or the "what-ifs" of life. Our hearts can get heavy before the day even begins.

In this verse, Jesus gives us a gentle but firm reminder. He doesn't say we won't have reasons to be troubled, but He tells us not to let those troubles take over. He offers a simple solution: trust.

If we can trust God with the universe, we can trust Jesus with our day. Faith is the anchor that keeps our hearts steady when life feels shaky. Whatever is weighing on you this morning, try handing it over to Him.

Since it is Sunday, we would love to have you join us for our worship service at 9:30 AM. It is a wonderful opportunity to gather, encourage one another, and find rest in God's presence. We hope to see you there!

Lord, thank You for being our peace. When our hearts feel heavy, help us to fix our eyes on You. Teach us to trust Your heart even when we don't understand our circumstances. Amen.

Daily Devotion

Good Saturday morning!

Galatians 6:2 (ESV): "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Life can be heavy sometimes. We all have days where our worries or responsibilities feel like too much to carry on our own.

This verse reminds us that we aren't meant to walk alone. When we step in to help a friend, listen to someone who is hurting, or lend a hand to someone in need, we are living out the heart of Jesus. Following Him isn't just about what we believe; it's about how we love and support each other through the hard parts of life.

Let’s look for one person today whose load we can help lighten. Even a small act of kindness shows the love of Christ in a big way.

We would also love to see you tomorrow! Please join us for our worship service at 9:30 AM. It is a wonderful time to gather, encourage one another, and grow in faith together.

Lord, help us to see the needs of those around us today. Give us a willing heart to help carry their burdens and the humility to let others help us with ours. Amen.

"Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy." — Psalm 126:5 (NKJV)

Happy Friday morning. Sometimes life feels like a long season of struggle. You might be working hard, praying through pain, or just trying to get through the day. It can feel like your efforts are disappearing into the ground.

But this verse reminds us that our tears are like seeds. Even when it hurts to keep going, those difficult moments are leading toward a harvest.

God doesn't waste your pain. If you are in a hard season right now, don't give up. Keep trusting Him. The same God who is with you in the "sowing" will be there to celebrate with you in the "reaping." Joy is coming.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being close to us when we struggle. When we feel overwhelmed, give us the strength to keep moving forward. We trust that You are working all things together for good. Amen.

Dakila ang Iyong Katapatan! 🙌🏻

In last Sunday’s sermon, Faithfulness of Love, Pastor Jun Bagain shared how God’s mercies are new every morning, and how we can build a lasting legacy for the next generation.

To build that legacy, we must remain fixed on the Father, faithful through trials, and fruitful in our church community.

May we continue to live out a love that refuses to quit this week!

Titus 2:11-12 (NIV): "For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age."

It is easy to think of grace only as the gift that saves us. And it is! But today’s verse reminds us that grace also acts like a teacher. It doesn't just forgive our past; it guides our present.

When we truly understand what God has done for us, our hearts begin to change. We start to see that saying "no" to things that pull us away from Him isn't about following a list of rules. Instead, it is a response of love. It is about choosing the better life He has for us—one that is self-controlled and upright.

Take a moment today to lean into that grace. Let it teach you, shape you, and help you walk in His light.

Lord, thank You for the grace that saved me and the grace that continues to lead me. Please help me to live in a way that honors You today. Give me the strength to turn away from what is not of You and the wisdom to walk in Your ways. Amen.
