Psalm 71:23 — “My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.”

God cares about the state of your heart. He doesn't want you to struggle through the hard days on your own. True joy doesn't come from everything in life being perfect; it comes from knowing we are loved and held by Him.

It is a beautiful Friday morning, and as we head into the weekend, let’s reflect on a powerful truth from 1 Peter 1:8:

“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.”

We live in a world that often tells us we have to "see it to believe it." But our relationship with Jesus works differently.

Even though we haven't seen His face with our own eyes, we love Him. Even though we can't reach out and touch Him physically right now, we trust Him. This isn't just wishful thinking—it is a living faith.

That faith brings a specific kind of joy. Peter calls it "unspeakable." It is a joy so deep and so full of God's glory that words can’t quite explain it. It’s the peace you feel when things are hard, and the strength you find when you feel weak.

Today, let that joy be your fuel. You are loved by a Savior who is with you right now, even in the quiet and invisible moments of your day.

Good morning. Do you ever have those days where your heart feels heavy, and you can’t quite put your finger on why?

The Bible shows us that even people of great faith felt this way. In Psalm 42:11 (NKJV), it says: "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God."

I love how honest this is. The writer doesn't pretend he’s okay; he asks himself why he’s so restless. But he doesn't stop there. He tells his soul where to look: "Hope in God."

When we feel overwhelmed, we can do the same thing. We can acknowledge our feelings and then remind ourselves of the truth. God hasn't changed. He is still our help, and He is still our God. Whatever is weighing on you this morning, try to shift your focus toward Him. He is faithful to see you through.

Lord, thank You for being our hope when we feel low. Help us to keep our eyes on You and to trust in Your goodness today. Amen.

Happy Wednesday! As we start our day, it's easy to feel like we should have every detail of our lives figured out. We plan, we worry, and we try to see around every corner to make sure we're on the right track.

Proverbs 20:24 (NIV) says: "A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?"

This verse is a gentle reminder that we aren't the ones in total control. If God is the one directing our steps, it makes sense that we won't always understand the path we’re on. We have a limited view, but He sees the whole picture from start to finish.

If you’re feeling a bit lost or unsure of your next move, take heart. You don’t need to understand the "way" as long as you know the One who is leading you. Peace comes when we stop trying to figure everything out and start trusting the Guide. You are exactly where He wants you to be today.

Lord, thank You for guiding my life even when I can't see the road ahead. When I feel anxious about the future, help me to trust Your heart and Your direction. Guide my steps today. Amen.
